Hi![edit source]

See the new photo of Stealing Creations? See the new armours on players? Will it be better than Dragon?! --Red partyhat.png Siganiv Second-abyssal-whip.png 15:34, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Who cares? For all we know, it could be delayed and released next YEAR. I'm considering deleting this page along with Mobilising Armies, as there's too little info about them. 7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

Why delete when it's going to be created again anyway? I think we should keep it. It is already marked as a "Future event", and I think we discussed about having "Future articles" in the Yew Grove. We decided that we can have these "Future" articles AS LONG AS Jagex has specifically mentioned it in Behind the Scenes.   az talk   05:23, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Members or free?[edit source]

Is this gonna be members or free? Telos 20:11, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Jagex has not specifically said whether this minigame is members-only, or is all available for free players.   az talk   09:43, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
There is a possibility that there might be a limited version of the game available to free players (like the GOP) but the screenshot shows all new armours and a summoning familiar so it would seem unlikely that it could be played by anyone other than members Gold ore.png Mercifull UK serv.svg (Talk) 10:11, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
I think the idea there there will be a limited version for F2P is probable, a bit similar to the RCing Guild. Of course, we won't find out until it is released. Depending on where its based if its purely P2P then they may do a similar thing to what they have done for Swept Away (Hallowe'en Quest) and show it to F2P before taking it away. I think the best way for them to get new P2Ps will probably be to show F2P what they would be missing so it's possible that they may just release it to F2P for a short period of time but we only have to wait now. Lpeters 22:39, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

It is pure P2P. 7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

This is horrible...[edit source]

Stealing Creation, my friends, has glitched on all servers...the game says "One minute left", then goes UP to "TWO minutes left", then one, then two, and so on. Also, I joined a game with one minute left, and we lost almost immediatly. People are talking about rioting...7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

I can't recall a single minigame that was absolutely bug-free on the day of release, but that does seem to be a very nasty glitch. :( WWTDD? 15:21, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Just wait a few days and everything should be rapidly fixed. The GOP had numberous issues with the barriers and most other new content hasn't yet had all the bugs flushed out a bit. Be a little patient and just wait a day or two instead of doing something that could jepordize yourself.
Thankfully, the bug has been fixed. =D 7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

It probably had something to do with the system update. (See bottom of Members object article and User:C Teng/Gallery#Glitch.) White partyhat old.png C Teng talk 17:03, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Guide[edit source]

I shall add a guide

Please sign your post with the four tildes. (~~~~), and don't bother creating a guide. All we need is information on how to play, the rewards, and other such things. 7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

OK, also, can I make a guide on Wise Old Man minitasks? Why must I add four tidals? Victory Guy8 17:07, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

How long are the games?[edit source]

Are they 20 minutes long like Castle Wars, or is there no time limit (which I doubt)? I can't access the game right now since I'm at school.  Tien  17:43, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Levels to use Rewards[edit source]

Some parts of the guide state that players need lvl 80 or better to use tools. I have not found this. I've used several with levels in the 60s and 70s. Some tools seem to simply be glitched and not working yet for anyone. Mamabear47 08:00, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Pretty sure this is how it works (someone verify):

level 1 tool/equipment - level 01+ in that skill

level 2 tool/equipment - level 20+ in that skill

level 3 tool/equipment - level 40+ in that skill

level 4 tool/equipment - level 60+ in that skill

level 5 tool/equipment - level 80+ in that skill

Nav Template[edit source]

Someone should make a navigation template for this. I'm not sure if it should be about Stealing Creation or Stealing Creation Rewards as there don't seem to be many pages about SC that aren't about it's rewards. I might consider doing it myself but I'm not too good at it? Thoughts? Suggestions? --Freefall333 08:16, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

This isn't good[edit source]

We kinda need images for BOTH versions of each Sacred clay item. And I'm pretty sure one of the Sacred clay articles said you could use it under level 40, which is impossible. 09:18, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

At one point, I'm assuming it's fixed now, you could use the butterfly net at any level. Dsctatom 03:54, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

How can I get Lots of points?[edit source]

Hey anyone know how to get tons of points on stealing creations. I saw someone on the first day get over 4mil points not jking. I was wondering how to get the most points. PLease tell me. --((User:Kingkill410|Kingkill410))

There are a couple ways to get mass points. The most legit way is play the game normally and then pickpocket magers for their runes and put those in your base :) Omg r u mine 14:35, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

~Also having atleast 10 summoning and high fletching or Runecrafting level and high level collecting will help a lot. All you do is get 3 level 1 clay at start turn 1 into pouch turn another into scroll and another into a tool of ur choice. Collect clay and upgrade ur tool and make runes or arrows then store them into ur summon keep ur scroll handy so if u get attacked u can just send all ur arrows or runes back to the base for the points and still die. If you don't die u won't ever have to go back to base so u can maximise ur points. 02:02, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

To get the BEST POINTS EVER you need to join a non-combat clan, and games can be as short as 10 minutes! This is half the amount of time compared to regular games, so you're almost doubling your points.

Trivia[edit source]

"Player were allowed to get items to lobby and game by using telekinetic grab."

How was it possible to get the law + air runes in there? Omg r u mine 17:09, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

You can get Them , More exacly , EVERY rune , With the runecrasft skill you make elemental and catalyc runes Argentinizad 13:28, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes, but you cannot make the runes in the lobby and when you DO have the runes in the game you cannot take them to the lobby. So, no getting items when you're in the lobby. (I don't know about the game, but you lose the stuff anyways and all the items in there are sacred clay anyways.) --Canifis 18:20, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Law and air runes[edit source]

Totally right... I dunno who put that in there. --Canifis 18:15, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Potions[edit source]

ive got super att pots from pk'ing anyone know how you get them

Potions in Stealing creation[edit source]

Players can make potions with sacred clay if they have a high enough herblore level. The furnace automatically makes the best kind of potion you can make (so a player can make super attack potions at 45 Herblore). --Canifis 18:16, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Huge mess Volatile vs Sacred items[edit source]

Volatile Tool proto-tool makes Volatile items.

Morphic Tool proto-tool makes Sacred items.

Those are different, not the same, and they're scrambled all over the articles. Mamabear47 23:46, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Verify? I'm Confused[edit source]

On the world select screen, it says that 125 is Stealing Creation, but that is an F2p world. Any ideas? Jagex mistake? Hankmeister 10:15, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Yea, I was the one who uploaded the image(Quite bad Might I add,lol.).I check world 125 and the stealing creation in that world, but they said to talk to them in members world only.Powers38 10:23, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Incorrect information[edit source]

"When selecting "Count-Charges" you will be given a percentage of the remaining uses of the given tool. Each percent is 10 uses."

I'm pretty sure this is wrong now. How much of the percent used up varies on what you're doing. Example: When I was fishing Sharks with the sacred clay harpoon I would lose 1% off the tool for every 1 shark I got. --Omegaplasma 10:17, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

The usage is to certain exp amount, and this is dependant on your level. so its not just a case of 1% for 1 shark, its different for every skill and every level, someone with 95 fishing for example might only use 0.5% per shark 10:01, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

help[edit source]

wow, i didnt know i could edit this, but now that i do i need someones help!!! i was trying to pickpocket someone in stealing creation, and it said that they has somthing preventing me from taking their items, and i really want to know what it was, because i keep getting my runes stolen by stupid theives, so then i cant kill them with ancients!! so pleeaassee contact me on runescape with an answer, please, my username is Lil pinky 19, please  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).

I can only think of two answers.

1)Your thieving level was not high enough. It was to be at least 20 levels under their thieving level to work. 2)You were fighting. You cannot pickpocket while under attack or fighting.Santa hat.png Powers38 おはようヾ(´・ω・`) 01:02, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Maximum Amount of Points[edit source]

I've been researching information on Stealing Creation, as I am planning on getting a large number of the Proto-tools. Since I'm limited in bank space (I'm a pack rat), and will need several dozen tools, I was planning on saving up my points to buy them when I get to needing them. This made me wonder what is the maximum points any player could have saved up at one time. Anyone know? I could really use the information, and the SC article is missing this little tidbit. Poison?[edit source]

Do the Ancient Magick smoke spells poison targets in Stealing Creation? If so, is this the only way to poison them? Mythomagic5 05:00, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

armor experience[edit source]

i understand that each piece of armor gives double experience for a limited amount of experience and that having more armor on increases that amount but i was wondering if there was a set amount of experience each piece of armor would give (i have been told this is 33.3k per part), and i was wondering if this was right or if not how much it is so that i could accurately calculate how many points i need to obtain before i can go from 96-99 magic without taking a break to do more sc (feel free to pm me if you already know)-- 00:36, 31 August 2009 (UTC)1337rnage

I believe that is the case - each piece of armour gives an extra 33.3k per part; wearing more pieces does not increase the experience gain per hit but instead slows the degradation rate of all worn pieces (so, in melee you won't get 32 experience per damage done, but 8 experience per damage for 4 times a long (with all 4 pieces). I'm pretty sure the 33.3k experience is the total bonus experience gained, i.e. its the attack style+hitpoints experience gained - so a bonus of 25k experience to whatever style you are using (attack/strength/defence/magic/ranged) plus 8,333.3 experience to hitpoints. If that makes sense. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 12:53, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Evaluate your character[edit source]

I was bored while waiting for a friend to get online, so I started working on a function that could evaluate a character based on some semi-complex parameters. You may not agree with the parameters, but you can still check what my script evaluates your character's skills as: Stealing Creation Character Evaluation. All 99s are not required to get the max score, but you have to be pretty close to it. Although 99 in everything is technically better than someone who is just close, the difference is so small it wasn't worth displaying. My own account only got 122 and ranked as "good." My own script says I suck :(

Post your score here if you want or give me feedback on.

Dsctatom 04:01, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

Heh, I got 142 and 'very good'.
Exactly what does the rating mean? Is it just and index of awesomeness at Stealing Creation? Could it be applied to points per game, maybe? Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 15:16, September 16, 2009 (UTC)
I accidentally made extremely tiny mistakes (a variable of 4 instead of 5, twice). So the script has been fixed and your thieving and magic now matter (wasn't even checking them before), and the score is now out of 193.
Here's basically how it thinks: resources and production are the strongest points of the evaluation, followed by major combat skills, then less important skills. Most skills have their own scales based on how valuable I consider them to be (this does not mean attack gives more points than ranged or anything of that biased sort). And beyond that, they follow different styles which I have named "strict and variable," within this, their point scale and level ranges of importance are based on how valuable they are at different levels. One example being 99 attack is considered better than 80 atk, while 99 fletching is no better than 80 fletching.
So a more direct answer to Gaz's question would be: this can be applied to points, because the ability to earn points is part of the fundamental design of the script. Someone who scores a 30 is extremely less likely to get a good score than someone with a 100, although someone who scores a 100 wouldn't get a "good" score as most people would view it. Someone who scores a 193 is entirely capable of getting the max score possible. But trying to assign an exact score range would be nearly impossible. My score in a game of SC can range from 40k to 100k; the amount of players, the size of the stage, human variables (interaction, team efficiency and so on), and the randomly generated resources make it too difficult to attempt it without being merely a guess.
After fixing it and leveling up a bit, I scored a 144. If that answer wasn't good enough, it's still an index of awesomeness, so it is win either way. ;)
Right now I'm looking at improving some parts of it, I do not expect the max score to increase, but I do expect to make getting into a higher level range in combat to matter more.

Dsctatom 19:44, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

I've made the updates I was referring to, here's basically a list of the improvements:
  • High level Combat (of all types, including HP/Sum) are worth slightly more.
  • In combat (not including HP/Sum) and resources, making it to the next 20 levels is worth fractionally more than before (makes the change from c4 to c5 worth more).
  • Major shortening to the HP evaluation. (doesn't really affect users, but looks better to me).
  • Agility and Summoning evaluation are combined, shortening the script (doesn't change anything for use, just more efficient).
  • Change to the max point value, which is now 198. I didn't want to change it until I was pretty sure combat was being undervalued. That 5 points is spread across 7 skills, so it's not too much. I think prayer was good from the beginning, so it wasn't included in the point update.
  • Added a percentage.
My score is now 148 out of 198. I realize that my score has been going up after each update, but when I went up the first time, it was mostly due to leveling up in a few skills. The 2nd and 3rd scores have percentages of 74.6% and 74.75%, respectively. So the upgrade in the script resulted in my own score going up .15%, so it should be clear that the script design isn't being based around what makes my account look good.

Large size or article[edit source]

The article contains a banner claiming it to be to large and that the stealing creation article should be split up. However splitting it up could cause alot of confusion and after reading the article several times i believe the article to be very informative. Many of the points raised and the information given is relevent and whoever alid the page out has done an extremely good job. this article is just going to be a large article and it cannot be broken down. most activities (minigames) atricles need to contain alot of inofrmation in order to be relevent to what they are trying to get across to the reader.

the article is quite long (and big) and some parts could be split off into subpages without affecting the quality. 222 talk 05:50, March 14, 2010 (UTC) remember to sign ur posts

Clan SC History[edit source]

I'm trying to gather a history of Clan Sc, and I'd love any opinions and suggestions:

Clan SC has a rich history, filled with different clans taking power and gaining domination. It is probably the most colorful history of any clan activity/rivalry. The torch of power has been handed over many times, with extremely dominate clans taking over that can be easily laid out.

  • Plug292 - One of the earliest mass population clans. Remnants still exist even today.
  • Jan738 - The biggest rival with Plug292, but eventually joined up with him.
  • Lleahy (quit)- One of the biggest, most devoted clan ever in Clan SC. Dominated the clan area for a long time, with remnants and devoted members existing through today.
  • Powerman705- Many members or lleahy are now in powerman705.
  • Wee123456777 (new name Weesc) - A very big rival to both Lleahy and Bully Stick for a long time. Best known for his insane advertising techniques. Still plays some sc to this day.
  • Bully Stick (quit)- Overtook all other clans with a great amount of competition. Known today as the clan that killed Clan SC, seeing as now no other mass population clan is in running order.
  • Megamanx714- Many of bully sticks members.

I am a Clan SC fiend that's been there for years, and I think I got it pretty accurate. Please post any suggestions, no new clans please ^^ Twiggletz 21:51, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

Equiptment[edit source]

This isn't directly related to this article, but it seems the best place to comment.

Does every level of equipment of every type need a separate article if there are only basic differences? It seems very odd and a waste of the interweb. Cheese13562 01:33, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

Cheese, see RS:G. All of them have different stats, so they are all different items. Not only that, but do you know how big the "Scimitar (Stealing Creation)" article would be? Unofficial worlds?[edit source]

Hi I looked through the page and it didn't say anything about unoffical worlds. Does anyone know about any unoffical worlds that I could play on? If there aren't maybe world 100 could be good?

I'm not sure what the unofficial worlds are, but three are several "FastSC" clans around. You can probably find more info on them on the RSOF. sssSp7p.pngIjLCqFF.png 17:58, July 11, 2011 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure that most clans that do that change the world frequently. Due to PKers coming in and killing everyone. One used a Soul Wars world to prevent PKers from coming. AWESOMENESS!!!! Hunt Dialga Chuck Norris 22:34, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
World 100, Sc Safe is known by most as the unoffical world because in the week other clans join them in a good amount of games. The problem is they are not 24/7 but the 6-12 hours a day are normally fitting everyones timezone. "Sc Safe" Friends chat is the fc. Good Luck
