Untitled[edit source]

Smithing requirements for spears and hastas are missing! --Flajuram 20:01, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Spears and hastas require Barbarian Training and are not part of the "regular" smithing collection. geotim90 13:04, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect or missing quantities[edit source]

The quantities denoted with #, @, *, etc. are often wrong or missing. Can somebody please correct them!

Include coins or not?[edit source]

Is there any reason that the coin amount is not listed on a separate column? I would find this much more useful when deciding what to smith with my steel bars. I'd be happy to go ahead and add the columns if there are no objections. Warp9pnt9 07:10, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

I've been thinking the same thing for a while. I've added columns for low alchemy, high alchemy, and the GE price, all derived from the GE page. --Saftzie 23:04, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect Grand Exchange Prices[edit source]

Take a look at the Rune prices. Someone needs to change this, and approvals need to be more strict when it comes to accepting unsourced prices.

There has been discussions on limiting who can change the prices, but all failed. You can update/change them if you wish. Also, I don't see anything wrong with the prices. What exactly is the problem? Full Slayer Helmet! Evil1888 Talk A's L Dragon Platebody! 08:40, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
I think the problem is that, whilst the prices are correct to our GE prices, these prices are often taken from the Runescape website's Grand exchange page, which for some items only lists prices to the nearest thousand. This means the prices shown are slightly inaccurate, and not particularly useful when dealing with multiple items. Henneyj 09:01, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

Experience per bar[edit source]

Do all bars give the same amount of experience? (1 bar for dagger and 5 bars of a platebody) If not can you add a part of the chart for the amount of experience a bar is worth if you smith an item?

Clean Up[edit source]

Someone please clean up the Profit column of the tables. I will be working on it, but it's slow going. Please do not remove the white space entirely as the table will become difficult to read. Please modify the following to reduce white space and ease table modification:

  • 1*{something} should be {something}.
  •  ( {something} - {something} ) / 1 should be {something} - {something}
  • {expr: ( {something} - 3*{something} ) / 3} should be {expr:( {something} - 3*{something} )/3
  • {GEP | something} should be {GEP| something}
  • {Coins | something} should be {Coins| something}

Finally added G.E. pricing[edit source]

There.  I did it.

Somebody might want to check my work for errors.  It took many hours for me to add the column to all relevant tables, and they all seemed fine to me, but it's always helpful to have another set of eyes look it over.

You're welcome  =)

Upgraded Equipment[edit source]

Making upgraded equipment is missing. 18:02, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

Added some upgraded equipment for rune, damn this is time consuming. Will try to keep adding more so I can get a more full picture of mining for profit FTP. 2601:45:400:D34F:BD63:C7F9:9B1F:D3A7 03:13, 3 June 2019 (UTC)

This all appears to be updated now with upgraded (+) variants for all standard metal bars Drixxy (talk) 04:01, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Why is adamant smithing different from others?[edit source]

I checked other metal bars in game, but it seems like adamant smithing is the only metal bar smithing that allows you to create items at maximum heat a level after learning how to smith the item. Just an overlook? Daroogie (talk) 12:49, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
