Next time please stay more tentative in your level requirements, and not just rumor. All armor requires 40 defense...as a pure I spent a long time getting the 74kpt bottom, only to discover I could not wear it. Well...atleast I contributed the Hialch price to the wiki :P
Transforming the helmet[edit source]
Just thought I should point out that if you try to transform the helmet, it'll turn into the corresponding type of leg armour. I lost two helmets doing it. Anyone know if it's a glitch, or is there something I'm missing? Alex D T 10:09, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Ranged ammo?[edit source]

- If it's the same as a yew shortbow, it'll use all arrows up to rune, just like the non-clay version. There are no special clay arrows for it. troacctid 21:11, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
I recharged my helm while wearing it and I was killing Basilisks and realized I wasn't getting double. I had to un-equip and re-equip my helm to activate it. Dsctatom 20:31, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't do much Wiki editing myself, thus the posting in Discussion.. Someone with better wording than myself should reword what they were trying to say about the 'constant 33k exp.. It's not nearly constant, but I assume they meant to say that there's no extra advantage to wearing multiple pieces. I also removed the request for an AVI converter.. Why nothing about the inside stealing creation ones?[edit source]
I was wondering why I don't ever see a mention about the different classes of it inside stealing creation. I know the higher classes are MUCH stronger then the one you use as a reward. What if someone wanted to know just how strong they are?

from what i can tell yes i useing a scimtar now i dunno about the armour tho
I was told this feature has been removed? Is this true?
Jagex has confirmed that the scimitar now gives 4x the normal xp when equiped and fighting.
Wearing full sacred clay sets[edit source]
Ok someone said something about the other peices making no difference, In fact they do wearing the full set will extend the life of the double xp, no you wont get extra on top for each set but the double xp will last longer as the individuall peices will degrade slower

In the article it saysclay gives something like 33k xp every time. I know for a fact this is WRONG. I recently was training a noob acc with clay. I thought each piece would give 33k or w/e it says but quickly noticed I wasn't getting that much. Anyway my suspitions were confirmed when I decided to use clay to get my smithing up (I know this isn't a weapon but the same principle applies. I know this applies for wepa and armor too). Anyway 33k would be amazing because my smithing was only 1. Did it give me 30k? No, the tool went from full to dust getting smithing from 1-10. A little over 1k xp. - Odd. Each tool gives a different amount of experience, and sacred clay hammers give 32k to smithing. The only explanations I can think of is that you either didn't have a fully charged tool to start with, or you had a volatile tool.
- On a different note, doing The Knight's Sword is a much better way for training smithing at low levels. 17:10, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
What I'm getting at is I think tools give more xp at higher lvls... Since last post I have tested a new clay needle on a user w/ 1 craft, same result. Then I used one on my better user w/ higher craft and I got a ton more xp out of it. Possibly up to a certain lvl, say 40, it gives less than 30k xp? Just speculation . I only use morphic tools and I'm 100% sure they had 100% charge p.s. - Sounds reasonable. I'd be more inclined to guess at under level 30, as this is the cut-off point for other things (e.g. Tears of Guthix, the hiscores), so I wouldn't be surprised if they used that level again. Of course, without any testing this is just guesswork. 15:02, January 2, 2010 (UTC)
The experience is not wrong. It states very clearly on the in-game Stealing Creation rewards shop screen that level 40 in the specific skill is required. If you do not have level 40 in the skill involved, it acts as a regular tool. The same applies with all Stealing Creation rewards
Personally, using a sacred clay helmet on Experiments(lvl 25), it gave me about 20'000 exp 18:43, 23 May
I believe the XP gained from tools does increase as you level up. I used sacred clay hats to train Magic using stun, and got 45 000 XP from each hat at level 88 Magic. Someone with 99 Magic said he got around 48k XP from each hat with the same method.

Full S.C. Ranged Xp?[edit source]
I recently tried to wear full S.C. and train on rock crabs, I was hoping to have the multiplier overlap, such as Coif, Chaps, Body, and bow all giving x2, but I was still only getting double experience, still losing my charges in the Armour, does this always happen? - Indeed. By wearing all four you don't get 4×, 8× or 16× experience, but instead get 2× for quadruple the time - your armour will last four times longer before degrading completely. 17:46, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
One not all[edit source]
"This is why it's in a person's best interest to use all of the pieces together at the same time, because 133k is a lot more than 33k for the same amount of time and effort."I've trained with sc for a bit and i dont think people should use all of it at once. Ideally player should only use the headgear as you lose less bonuses with it compared with the others. Also it is the cheepest, the better way to train with sc is to gather a few helms and use them switch for each one, 4 helms will last the same as 1 of each and you get higer bonuses as you an use better armour, after they are all dechared simply retrun and rechare them for a mere 20 points.

stealing creation armour[edit source]

Xp gain?[edit source]
Is the armor actually worth the ~40k per piece, or is it only worth half that? In other words, does it double xp to a point that you get an extra ~40k, or does it double xp until you get ~40k?
If you would have gained around 20k xp during the time you were not wearing the sc item while wearing it you will gain around 40K xp for the same effort. So the actual bonus xp given is around 20-25k, the other half of the 40-50k is normal xp.22.214.171.124 10:02, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
