Why a stub[edit source]
erm, why exactly is this article a stub, it can convey all possible info it can on the runecrafter robes, besides, its not as if theres really a lot of info to convey anywayFile:Void seal.pngFireyfoxImage:Armadyl symbol.PNG|34px 06:55, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- um, cause, it was like all stubby when I first made it, and I'd never made a page before, and all the other kids were doing it? However, it's been expanded quite a bit since I made it, and if you think it's unstubby now, feel free to kill the stub tag. ;-) Mamabear47 07:39, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Buy again?[edit source]
When you die with robes, do you need to buy another set? I'm just asking, because I am getting the pieces after I get 50 runecrafting.

- Yes, you will need to trade points for the robes again if you lose them. --

All 3 required?[edit source]
Do you need to be wearing all 3 pieces (glove, robe, skirt) for the slightly faster bonus in the minigame? --King x treme 04:58, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- no, each piece adds to the bonus. Avispar
Color[edit source]
Is it in any way possible to switch the color of the robes without spending extra tokens? 193.190.253.144 22:26, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
no!!
The Great Orb Project Bonuses[edit source]
What do the +2 and +3 bonuses refer to, anyone know? Apparently they don't boost RC level like I originally though, so what do those numbers mean? THARKON

- You know what you do with the orbs -- attracting them, repelling them (and I think also the speed with which you do that) -- that is encreased by those bonusses. . . . Yours,

- That makes sense, except for, what is +2 speed or +3 speed? There needs to be a unit of measurement in it somewhere, but I can't figure out what the robes do exactly. They don't boost rc level, that I am sure of now.

- Yeah, I think so too.... But a square is a distence... and the speed... maybe like attack speed? idk, i'm just uhm... assuming. . . . Yours,

I didn't bring the robes this time and didn't really notice any change, could still attract from the opposite side of the same altars I could before even if the orb was far away, so range wasn't affected. Other effects would be more subtle, I didn't notice them, but that doesn't prove they weren't there. But ranged and rc level are both proven to be unaffected now. THARKON

Factual inaccuracy (lie)[edit source]
The trivia sentence which says:
- These robes CAN be sold back to the store for equal amount of points. This allows players to switch colors at will.
Is incorrect. You cannot sell back items to the Great Orb Project shop.

- Thanks for catching that

Evolution of combat reducing the bonuses of the runecrafter outfit to (!) zero[edit source]
Ugh, the runecrafter outfit was so difficult to get in F2P (almost as difficult as getting 50 runecrafting in F2P - there was not any Runespan at that time, haha). I got the runecrafter robes while training my runecrafting beyond level 50; I really wanted the bonuses that the runecrafter hat (+3), robe top (+5), robe bottom (+4) and gloves (+2) offered. After all, the runecrafter hat, top, bottom and gloves were the ultimate non-degradable (highest magic attack bonus, much higher magic defence bonus than blue/black wizard hat and wizard robe top - there weren't even any wizard robe bottom or wizard gloves at the time) mage armour in F2P.
Now the Evolution of Combat has reduced all the attack and defence bonuses of the runecrafter robes to zero.

(Editor's note: ...just another thing in Runescape that the Evolution of Combat has ruined...)
