The feud also required[edit source]

I think the feud quest is also required to do this minigame. --Wiiwantxbox 00:56, 23 May 2007 (UTC) Is this really a mini-game or a mini-quest? If you have to play 'Rune Sudoku' each time, then I guess it is a game, but after you open both chests, Ali M.'s stall opens for normal sales, you don't have to play a game to get runes, but you can play the game to get discount runes. I guess it is a combination quest and game, should it be listed in both areas? Steelhorse66 19:51, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Strategy[edit source]

If someone could make that look better, that would be really helpful. I don't know all the code yet >.> DarkMagic 21:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Minigame or Miniquest?[edit source]

Is Rogue Trader a minigame or miniquest?   az talk   04:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Miniquest. It isn't repeatable and doesn't a minigame icon. I'll fix this. --Wowbagger421 05:11, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Anddddddd of course Jagex has to be difficult by classifying it as a minigame. Quick poll on what people think it is? --Wowbagger421 05:13, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Jagex says its a minigame, so its a minigame. Thats that. End it. Gilded clock (flatpack).png--Tealclocktalk23:52, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

RuneSudoku is repeatable with rune awards, so I think that should fall under everyone's definition of a mini-game. The puzzle is also pretty well done, imho. To3cutt3r 22:33, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I would call this a miniquest, but Jagex calling it a minigame makes this difficult. ~ Fire Surge icon.png Sentry Telos Talk  06:31, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

RuneSudoku[edit source]

What percentage discount do you get if you solve puzzle vs buying runes from him? Or is it a percentage at all? Seemed roughly 20% from solving, but I didn't write down numbers, and my eyes are crossed from doing puzzle forever. Mamabear47 18:07, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Small chest[edit source]

Test 1: Ali offered lot for 636, total value according to Price Checker is 2,529. Mamabear47 18:16, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Icthlarin's Little Helper[edit source]

Do I need to have finished the quest to complete Rogue Trader? Because when I try to talk to Siamun he just says, "Clear off you despicable vagabond." --Iiii I I I 12:25, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Paterns[edit source]

The patern for the big casket doesn't work all the time (if it ever does). It doesn't even work with the example image shown in the article... Just look the first rune; chaos. According to patern is should be in I7 instead of H8. Proulxs (talk) 12:28, November 13, 2015 (UTC)

Why would Fur link here?[edit source]

Old content not yet removed / archived? (See also) Sincerely, 3ICE (talk) 16:20, March 6, 2016 (UTC)

Fur is one of the hides that can be given to Siamun during the miniquest. XXghosgrammerXx (talk) 05:27, March 21, 2017 (UTC)

Clarification on inaccurate rune prices needed[edit source]

In the article it is stated that "Also, the price it states to buy the runes is inaccurate. You will be charged for the cost of the runes as if you bought them from a regular store," and "Runes are often more expensive than normal store prices as seen below." However, the table just gives "Cost per rune" and isn't clear on where the prices are from (normal store, Ali's store, other?). I didn't take the time tonight to research prices, but this could use some clarification:

What are the rune prices from a normal store (Aubury's Rune Shop, Betty's Magic Emporium, etc.)?
What are the rune prices from Ali if you see what the runes are?
How do those prices compare to the Grand Exchange?
How do those prices compare to Ali's if you buy them without seeing them?
