Im pretty sure these aren't too great for charms anymore.Son of Sonic 23:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Rock lobsters are the best place to collect chamrs if you are willing to blitz them and spend millions..that is what the first players to get 99 summon did. I have friends that are at rock lobs now spending cash on runes and getting charms the fastest way on the game. tk March 27, 2008

Charm Drop Table[edit source]
When it says that 2 charms are dropped at once, does that mean that 80% of the time it drops 2 crimson, or does it mean that it drops 2 crimsons 40% of the time, adding up to an 80% chance drop per charm? http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/runescape/images/3/33/Crimson_charm.gif Its Alex Pan 19:04, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
- That means tha 80% of the time it drops 2 crimsons.

- It definitely doesn't feel like that. I struggle to get more than 10 crimson per load of 9. I'm getting below 50% most of the time. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/runescape/images/3/33/Crimson_charm.gif Its Alex Pan 03:53, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
- It's 40% doubled, however to compare the droptate with other monsters, we double it, so it's as though 80% of the kills drop 1 crimson charm. Majorbling 22:33, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
How many ice bursts/barrages can you cast in one hour? The article states that, for every 1000 casts, you gain x charms. But how long would these 1000 casts take to cast? Kingofrs14 10:55, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
about 2 hours
Mar 28 2011 Patch Notes[edit source]
"Charm drop rates for hellhounds and rock lobsters have been reverted"
Can someone clarify what the charm drop rate is now? Is it more or less than before the patch?
- It's exactly the same as before the Ring of Wealth update. JOEYTJE50TALK pull my finger 20:47, March 28, 2011 (UTC)
Rock Lobsters do not drop anything from the Ring of Wealth special drop table? This is odd considering that they drop half keys/gems/half shields.
Does 'chinning' work here too?
