This may be because I can't get a good look at his image, but the Ringmaster (to me, at least) has a half-resemblance to Razorbeard from Rayman 2 for the N64 and DS (minus the beard and peg-leg). Grey skin, a similarly shaped hat...heck, his facial hair isn't the same, but even it's still there! The Ringmaster's uniform is much more clean, but it still looks similar enough! What's even MORE uncanny, though, is that those of you who knew Rayman (as a video game character) had his own TV show will know that Razorbeard, who had almost the same appearance, WAS an apprentice ringmaster himself, instead of a pirate captain. Since I'm at school now, I'll have to get a good look at his face graphic/speech patterns to see if he truly is based off of Razorbeard a bit later. I'm dead serious though; this NPC looks like he was just plucked out of Rayman 2 and dropped into Gielinor!7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

Before comments start arriving on this page...granted, I know there's some obvious differences between this NPC and Razorbeard. For one, this guy is like...three times as tall than the midget pirate captain is. No peg-leg (obviously) is present, and as I said, the facial hair, though present, is a mustache instead of a beard. Just wanted to state that I DO recognize some differences! 7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko)

Ringmaster's Race[edit source]

The article says he's an ork. I'm inclined to think he's a minotaur, like the ones in the Stronghold of Security. The gray skin, the horns, the teeth...any thoughts? He doesn't look like an ork to me. Morian Smith 00:41, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Maybe you should look on the RuneScape website for details on him. Also, shouldn't the article title be moved to his actual name instead of just "Ringmaster"? --Rollback crown.svg Spencer (Talk | Edits | Contribs) 00:55, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
His in-game name is Ringmaster, but it is assumed that his actual name Balthazar based on the title of the D&D. Yeah, I agree that he doesn't look like an ork.   az talk   05:05, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
I just noticed that Balthazar has horns, and don't minotaurs have horns? Orks do not have them.   az talk   05:22, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Guild Wars[edit source]

Balthazar is the god of war and fire in Guild Wars.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) on 18:12, 10 October 2008.

Yeah, and Balthazar is also the name of one of the cast in Alias.   az talk   04:46, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
