We really need to organize the photos so that they do not mess with the page's order. I'm not proficient in code, but I know it needs to be done...14:53, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
Merge into Resource Dungeons[edit source]
We have 'Resource dungeon' and 'Resource Dungeons' articles about the same thing. The information in the articles is diverging as editors update one or the other. They should be merged. 'Resource Dungeons' (or better, 'Resource dungeons') is the better title, since there are several resource dungeons. Inelcirc 15:42, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
Multi-combat areas[edit source]
The hellhound and Black demon are multi. (Don't know if it is able to place a cannon btw) --AnonymousRJ 16:32, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
==Implings in Karamja Volcano[[Karamja
]]== This could be implings? The F2P dungeon just might not have them.
"Karamja Dungeon Contents should read "Imps" not "Implings". There are no implings on F2P" - On the page
"Volcano Dungeoneering level: 25 Contents: Implings Creatures: Lesser demons Free-to-play?: Yes Dungeoneering XP reward: 2100" - RS KB
We really need picture for the high level dungeons. Anyone with a high enough level and is willing to help, please try and get some photos on the page. I'd do it myself, but my Dungeoneering isn't nearly high enough.17:09, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
- On another note, the gigantic picture on the page that was just added needs to be smaller... 17:11, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Disregard the above, thanks to Axedude for the fix 17:15, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
I've inserted "outside" pictures of a couple of the dungeons that I've visited. I'm shooting for the best quality render you can get under the standard "Fixed" graphics option. Since someone added an "Image Inside" button, I will be sure to follow up on some of those as well. Vardarac 17:41, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
- They look fantastic. I might start going after some shots of the outsides as well, of the ones I can't go in, and get inside shots of some as well. 20:42, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
I think the table should say "P2P" like I had it, rather than "F2P" because we usually use the broader term when it comes to classifications.17:31, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
~I totally agree, it makes more sense.
Maps Inside/Outside[edit source]
While the "Map Inside" and "Map Outside" tables are useful in some cases, the Daemonheim dungeon entrance map depends on the location of its exit to give the viewer an idea of where exactly the entrance is. Wouldn't it be better to simply consolidate entrance and exit into single images, or into two images in the same section? Vardarac 17:47, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, it would be better to have one image outside with a minimap screen as well as the image, plus a map of what is inside. But what we need is people taking those pictures. 19:49, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
I was in the first Edgeville one and I saw this:
Penguins!? Sorry if you already know what this is about.--†~†~Blue Kirby~†~† 21:04, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
those are penguin suits made by the player and released. exactly like the toy mice they can be wound up and released to walk around. the player who released them can then try to catch them for 12 or 13 agility exp. nothing to do with dungeoneering. sorry if it got your hopes up about something.Hasaan5 23:22, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, the photo made it obvious, because of the clicked Penguin suit, lol 00:56, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
A.) The amount of penguins vastly outnumbers the amount of people there. B.) They ran around and then just died.--†~†~Blue Kirby~†~† 03:50, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
I haven't been a member for a long time so I don't know if I'm right, but you can release more than one clockwork penguin. And I believe the penguins do have a dying or falling animation when the clockwork stops working and they stop moving.Lunt0er 14:42, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
New column?[edit source]
I thought maybe adding a new column with information regarding the uses of a specific resource dungeon would be beneficial. For example the Edgeville Dungeon could have the text, "Chaos druids may be killed for herbs and herbs may be picked off the ground for use in Herblore." What does everyone think about the idea? 05:02, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
That may be better suited for the pages dealing with the specific dungeons. There's already a couple up. Ciphrius Kane 12:55, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
I agree, that would make this page too cluttered. Specific pages would be much better suited. We do need to finish them though...15:34, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
I have gone in and made the bare bones for the separate pages. I provided a redirect for the Mining Guild one too. Now Invincibility, you can go in and do the template on the specific pages.16:38, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Impling respawn points are simply points that when you catch an impling, it will re-appear once the respawn time is up at that point.
- When you try to enter a dungeon which you are too low level to enter, the game responds in your chat box, "You need a Dungeoneering level of (#) to venture in there."
Do these really count as trivia? It just sounds like normal gameplay mechanics.Luntoer 14:32, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, those really aren't good trivia statements, but what about adding something about the trend of a stone cube thing in each cave? Probably nothing though.--†~†~Blue Kirby~†~† 14:36, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
I went in and fixed that up. I also added what you suggested Kirby, as that is good trivia.15:33, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
Inside dungeons[edit source]
How do you get a map of the inside of a dungeon if it's too large to fit in the minimap and it doesn't appear on the world map?14:18, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Take pictures of sections of the map, then use something like Paint or Powerpoint to combine them all. 02:24, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
Entrance Images[edit source]
I think that the entrance images for some, mainly the Taverly Dungeon ones, are lacking, as they are just a picture of the entrance, which gives the viewer no information...if you would do that, you might as well use the same picture for all of them. We need wider shots...such as the one for the mining guild.15:20, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
I agree. Some of the higher level entrance images were cropped down. I think it would be better if they also show the area, as all the entrances look the same, and as you said, not giving much information. So revert the cropped images?15:25, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
Reverted them all but i think that the Taverley and varrock sewers still need wider shots. Hasaan5 02:23, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Stub removal[edit source]
I think the stub marker at the page bottom is ready to be removed. We're only missing like 3 images, so it is a well-shaped article. Anyone disagree?07:13, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
I think that there should be section on the dungeons bit saying if a monsters aggressive or not. seeing as some monsteres that are normally aggressive aren't. Hasaan5 02:36, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
How many people in a dungeon?[edit source]
When I enter a dungeon, can other people enter it? Is it a personal dungeon, where all the resources are for me only, or is it really just a regular training spot with tough competition for spawns? Oil4 Talk 19:06, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Anybody else can enter the dungeon as well, it's not your own personal dungeon. 19:14, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
About the piece of trivia that says that in each dungeon there is a strange pillar, I couldn't see one in the Edgeville Hill Giants. Am I just missing something?
Format and missing items.[edit source]
Not only does the part of the table get cut off, it's missing some pictures! Metapig 23:45, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
ISSUE STILL THERE! I am currently training dungeoneering, but it will be a while before i can actually help.21:55, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
Waterfall quest needs to be started for the baxtorian falls resource dungeon. Not just brain death island.--Qazwsx753421 05:38, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
Do quest xp lamps count?[edit source]
I recently put a more specific number for the amount of xp you gain for finding all the dungeons, but that number doesn't count the xp lamps you get for finishing quests that involve entering new resource dungeons. Since the xp is gained differently than the other dungeons (which immediately give you xp upon entering), am I right to not include the lamp xp? They are quest rewards after all, and so are not technically the same. Moldrum (talk) 02:47, September 17, 2016 (UTC)
