Merge into Resource Dungeons[edit source]

We have 'Resource dungeon' and 'Resource Dungeons' articles about the same thing. The information in the articles is diverging as editors update one or the other. They should be merged. 'Resource Dungeons' (or better, 'Resource dungeons') is the better title, since there are several resource dungeons. Inelcirc 15:42, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

Pictures[edit source]

I've inserted "outside" pictures of a couple of the dungeons that I've visited. I'm shooting for the best quality render you can get under the standard "Fixed" graphics option. Table[edit source]

I think the table should say "P2P" like I had it, rather than "F2P" because we usually use the broader term when it comes to classifications. ContributionsBunnies1230Talk 17:31, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

Maps Inside/Outside[edit source]

While the "Map Inside" and "Map Outside" tables are useful in some cases, the Daemonheim dungeon entrance map depends on the location of its exit to give the viewer an idea of where exactly the entrance is. Wouldn't it be better to simply consolidate entrance and exit into single images, or into two images in the same section? Vardarac 17:47, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it would be better to have one image outside with a minimap screen as well as the image, plus a map of what is inside. But what we need is people taking those pictures. ContributionsBunnies1230Talk 19:49, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

Penguins[edit source]

I was in the first Edgeville one and I saw this:

those are penguin suits made by the player and released. exactly like the toy mice they can be wound up and released to walk around. the player who released them can then try to catch them for 12 or 13 agility exp. nothing to do with dungeoneering. sorry if it got your hopes up about something.Hasaan5 23:22, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

I haven't been a member for a long time so I don't know if I'm right, but you can release more than one clockwork penguin. And I believe the penguins do have a dying or falling animation when the clockwork stops working and they stop moving.Lunt0er 14:42, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

New column?[edit source]

I thought maybe adding a new column with information regarding the uses of a specific resource dungeon would be beneficial. For example the Edgeville Dungeon could have the text, "Chaos druids may be killed for herbs and herbs may be picked off the ground for use in Herblore." What does everyone think about the idea? I have gone in and made the bare bones for the separate pages. I provided a redirect for the Mining Guild one too. Now Invincibility, you can go in and do the template on the specific pages. Amascut symbol.svg Amascut Ia Morte 16:38, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Trivia[edit source]

  • Impling respawn points are simply points that when you catch an impling, it will re-appear once the respawn time is up at that point.
  • When you try to enter a dungeon which you are too low level to enter, the game responds in your chat box, "You need a Dungeoneering level of (#) to venture in there."

Do these really count as trivia? It just sounds like normal gameplay mechanics.Luntoer 14:32, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Inside dungeons[edit source]

How do you get a map of the inside of a dungeon if it's too large to fit in the minimap and it doesn't appear on the world map?  Tien  14:18, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Entrance Images[edit source]

I think that the entrance images for some, mainly the Taverly Dungeon ones, are lacking, as they are just a picture of the entrance, which gives the viewer no information...if you would do that, you might as well use the same picture for all of them. I agree. Some of the higher level entrance images were cropped down. I think it would be better if they also show the area, as all the entrances look the same, and as you said, not giving much information. So revert the cropped images? Stub removal[edit source]

Aggressive?[edit source]

I think that there should be section on the dungeons bit saying if a monsters aggressive or not. seeing as some monsteres that are normally aggressive aren't. Hasaan5 02:36, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

How many people in a dungeon?[edit source]

When I enter a dungeon, can other people enter it? Is it a personal dungeon, where all the resources are for me only, or is it really just a regular training spot with tough competition for spawns? Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 19:06, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

About the piece of trivia that says that in each dungeon there is a strange pillar, I couldn't see one in the Edgeville Hill Giants. Am I just missing something?

Error[edit source]

Do quest xp lamps count?[edit source]

I recently put a more specific number for the amount of xp you gain for finding all the dungeons, but that number doesn't count the xp lamps you get for finishing quests that involve entering new resource dungeons. Since the xp is gained differently than the other dungeons (which immediately give you xp upon entering), am I right to not include the lamp xp? They are quest rewards after all, and so are not technically the same. Moldrum (talk) 02:47, September 17, 2016 (UTC)
