Anyone have any idea what the purpose of a rat pole is? I'm a little curious.

- Besides the Rat Catchers quest and Achievements Diary... To show off at most you can catch six rats :$?

- I had figured that much out, but I guess there's no real use to it then? I've read in at least one article that it's useful to have (Probably the Rat pits one), but I couldn't figure out WHY it would be useful to have. I figure it's just something extra to have in your hand that makes it look like you are a more authentic rat catcher/cat trainer, almost as useless as the rat catching medal. Oh well. Detailed image[edit source]
After some deliberation, I have replaced the detailed item image, which had previously been removed, but which I think still has a place in illustrating the item. However, I could be wrong - I am not adamant that it should be there, so if it is removed again then I will leave it. :-) Leevclarke talk
