Hello there, I was reading this article and noticed the following:
"Quest point capes are pale blue in colour, and will never have a trim"
Is there any evidence of this? I know that currently it's not possible to obtain a trimmed quest point cape, but in a future that could change. A personal theory of mine is that once there are enough Achievement Diaries, completing all of them along with all the quests will trim the cape.
In case there is no evidence of the statement I quoted above, I believe it would be more accurate to say that there aren't any means to obtain a trimmed quest point cape.--220.127.116.11 17:52, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Quite right, there is no official statment that they will not once be trimmable, infact there IS a discussion about the achievment thingy in the RS suggestion forums. Changed. talk 17:55, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Just a few more quests and this will be the hardest cape to get ever.. Then there will be even more then a trim. Also, this cape cannot be trimmed (yet). So it will not give any prayer bonus.... Buzz (Talk • # • √ • P ) 08:35, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Warriors' Guild requirement[edit source]
The minimum skill levels section doesn't take in to account the attack and strength level needed to access the Warriors' Guild (requirement in While Guthix Sleeps) 18.104.22.168 09:30, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
You need 85 combat for Dream Mentor and Smoking Kills.
Current clipping issues[edit source]
Hello. Perhaps it would be beneficial to tell people that, when a player wears full Dagon'Hai robes, the ottom of the robes often clashes with the QP cape -i'm not sure if this is the same for other skillcapes. ~ Sinner Kenji, World 47
Fishing Guild Req[edit source]
According to the Waterfall Quest page, you need to be able to get in the fishing guild which requires 68 in the fishing skill...? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Colee (talk) on 04:26, June 22, 2009.
- You don't need to enter the guild, it just helps (due to the closer bank). 10:28, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
The image with a group fo players performing the quest point emote, is that image really necessary? =/18:20, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
I agree, it's not needed as it's not adding anything to the article. Vanity pic only.05:44, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
Strangely, I was one of the players doing the emote in that picture. Someone said they were going to upload it to the RS wiki. I didn't notice it until now, but it was uploaded in maybe October or November, but I know it was after the last Mysteries of the Mahjarrat quest (the one before the Temple at Sennlisten). ~Nighthawk146
Update for Fur 'n Seek[edit source]
Needs to be updated...
Update it then. ;]02:58, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Is there a message when you finish all the quests the first time?[edit source]
Is there a message when you finish all the quests for the first time? I can't remember, and would love to see it again if there is one. I mean something along the lines of "You have now completed all of the quests, see the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village for the Cape of Accomplishment." ~Nighthawk146
I didn't get one, This was when I finished WGS though, and you automatically go back into conversation after the quest, however. So you might.Zac WilliamRS 02:46, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
Nope, there is no message, other than Congratulations, quest complete!
I don't understand why he seems to struggle on the ground before he goes up in the air?(in the emote)
- possibly to signify the struggle to achieve it?Teh alch 03:17, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
Minimum Combat level[edit source]
According to the article's trivia section, "It is possible to have a quest cape and be level 85 combat", but according to the combat level formula, the minimum combat level would be 90 to satisfy all requirements (75 attack and strength, 65 defense, 70 prayer, and 41 summoning).
1/4(13/10(75 + 75) + 65 + 47 + (1/2)70 + (1/2)41) = 1/4(195 + 65 + 47 + 35 + 20) = 1/4(362) = 90. 22.214.171.124 04:29, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
new lowest summoning level is 65 for the quest A Clockwork Syringe.
therefore the minimum combat level would be 100 with an estimated 75 hitpoints level (used runehq.com combat level calculator)
Variable Data[edit source]
There's seems to be a large amount of variable data in this article. Is there a way to make quests, quest points, required XP for the cape, etc. templates so they can be updated easier, like the GE prices? Wires77 00:51, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Update emote[edit source]
Someone needs to update the emote, it's still the old one. I'd do it myself but I don't know how to :/ Davidyang201 00:08, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
Requirement updates[edit source]
I believe that when a new quest is on the verge of being released, players with the quest cape are alerted to what the skill requirements are for them to complete the quest. Can we get that bit of information included? For example, if they are told a week before the quest is believed to be released, can that be stated? It is definately a function of the cape that is worth mentioning.
- This is not true, quest cape owners get no early mention of quest requirements, however behind the scenes now says some of the requirements for the quest. 126.96.36.199 17:23, December 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, we don't get any foreknowledge. That's why I don't think the official Wikia requirement page should be changed until the quest is released for real.
Health requirement[edit source]
The wiki states " With all the minimum combat discipline requirements and a resulting level 76 Constitution, the actual minimum combat level possible to wear a Quest point cape is 105", but what this does not consider are ways of training combat skills without gaining constitution experience (lamps, pest control, conquest, quest rewards). The page should only show the constitution level that is required.

Health Requirement[edit source]
With the new quest The Firemakers Curse the new requirement for health is 76 so i think all the references to health being 76 and a recomended 105 combat , because with all of the requirements the actual minimum combat level you can be is 105 so like the line "plus additional experience for a recommended level 105 Combat" this is irrelevent because you are 105 with all requirements and "With all the minimum combat discipline requirements and a resulting level 76 Constitution, the actual minimum combat level possible to wear a Quest point cape is 105" this word resulting is not needed , can somebody please edit this and make it right ? Cooking requirement[edit source]
You used to be able to boost cooking from 65 to 70, it doesn't say so in the requirements list. Are there any new quests that require 70 cooking? I haven't played in a while and don't want to give people false information. (184.108.40.206 10:22, July 25, 2014 (UTC))
- It does say so in the table above the requirements list, the list itself doesnot include boosts except for numbered notes who mention the boosts but also warn for other quests who can't be boosted and etc. 10:30, July 25, 2014 (UTC)
Strength and Prayer requirements[edit source]
I'm just wondering since Children of Mah requires Koschei's Troubles which requires 90 strength and 90 prayer, shouldn't it be shown 90 in both of those skills. --220.127.116.11 04:20, May 11, 2017 (UTC)
- Only partial completion of Koschei's Troubles is required, so 90 Strength and Prayer are not listed. -- 04:55, May 11, 2017 (UTC)
Ghost stories of gielinor[edit source]
is this a new quest? and is it a requirement for the cape? --18.104.22.168 19:44, November 12, 2017 (UTC)
- This is the 2017 Hallowe'en event and is not required for the quest point cape. 19:54, November 12, 2017 (UTC)
Existing Capes[edit source]
If possible, we should try to get an update on how many players currently possess the cape. I'd be curious to see if the number has increased or dwindled since the release of the menaphos quests.
Quest point cape level requirements[edit source]
I hope this goes to right area(?).
I am going after quest point cape. Maybe you want to put some kind of footnote that in order to complete Childred of Mah, you have to complete Koschei's Troubles (according in-game quest log). This requires 90 prayer and 90 strength, making them as requirements to get a cape.
