Vandalism[edit source]

This page has been vandalised but I don't know how to fix it.--Gbadude3 00:58, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Fixed it. Someone vandalized the exchange page for regular logs, causing the problem. 15:05, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Magic Logs[edit source]

The guide says "Note that magic logs are very slow to cut, no matter what hatchet is used and will cut at near the same rate whether you are level 75 or 99 Woodcutting." but later says "Take note, however, that magic logs will be slow to cut at first until you achieve around 90 Woodcutting." Which is right?Rilcer 21:51, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

Mahogany Logs[edit source]

Whoever added that on had a very good idea of how good of a way it is to make money, but there is something I'm questioning I should add: It takes a while for mahogany logs to sell in the Grand Exchange. Should that be added to the part on mahogany logs? VoidWhisperer 16:53, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

I added this section -- a lot of effort has been made on the special mahogany log page to estimate the return on mahogany log chopping. I've never had trouble selling mahogany logs over more than a day. Like anything on the Grand Exchange, there can be high and low demand at different times, but given the regular demand for construction purposes, these are not inherently slow to move in my experience.

On another note, other than mahogany, I have not seen good quantification of the return per hour for other types of trees. I am now convinced that mahogany is far superior to yew in terms of hourly return, and possibly magic trees. Can someone estimate the number of magic logs you can cut in an hour, say with a Hydra familiar in Tree Gnome Stronghold where you never run out of magic trees to chop, and can bank quickly with the gnome bankers? I'd love to know if a level 99 woodcutter can do better on magic trees than the 300k+/hr achieved with Mahogany at much lower woodcutting levels. Block7head 17:05, November 14, 2010 (UTC)

I make 800k/hr from mahoggany at tai bow wannai island. 01:18, September 13, 2012 (UTC) PaInLeSsKilLeR

Eucalyptus logs[edit source]

How much are you making every hour from Eucalyptus logs?

Willow logs[edit source]

Why are these even listed as a money making method? At their best they're maybe 25k an hour, if that. Law rune.png Samberen Nature rune.png 21:46, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
