Blast Furnace[edit source]

The article recommends making mithril platebodies at the blast furnace. It's been a while since I've been to the blast furnace, but when I was there, mitril bolts were much, much better than mithril platebodies from a profit perspective. Can someone with more recent blast furnace experience verify/correct? To3cutt3r 05:10, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

i just saw it and thought the exact same thing, ill update it Leinad177 58.161.194.103 10:21, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

I give up[edit source]

PLEASE USE EDIT TO READ THIS i tried to add mith bolts but i just got lost when i did it before, i made money, but now it seems like you lose money, so im confused...

anyway, this is what i had, use edit to see a readable version of this

|- |{{Difficulty|1}} |Level 53 |[[mithril bolts (unf)|Unfinished Mithril Bolts]] can be made at the [[Blast_furnace|Blast Furnace]] for a profit of {{#expr:({{GEPrice|Mithril_bolts_(unf)}}*10} - ({{GEPrice|Mithril_ore}} + {{GEPrice|Coal}}*4)}} | |

Runite Bars at blast furnace[edit source]

I added a section for runite bar smelting at the blast furnace using a pack yak, but not other beast of burden familiars. If someone could time any of those, it might be useful for those without 96 summoning to know how much profit they can make per hour. To3cutt3r 15:43, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Red stars[edit source]

What do the red starz mean?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Phillies2008 (talk) on 19:34, December 21, 2009 (UTC).

The method is not profitable. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 20:03, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

OKIE DOKIE[edit source]

A smithing method not discussed though fairly profitable is the Cannon ball method. Buy Steel bars at about 1050 GP per piece, Smelt them all into cannon balls, sold at about 350-400 GP per cannon ball or 1400gp to 1600gp per bar, with a profit of between 400-600gp per bar. Your gross income is somewhere around 40,000 per load and your net is, if let's say you get 400 per bar, 10800gp per load. The loads are slow but as a bonus you can usually do this method while doing something else on the computer :D. If you do 250 bars per hour, that turns out to be exactly 100k per hour.

Barrows[edit source]

Repairing barrows no longer can be profitable, as far as I can see, unless you buy cheap and sell dear. Rich Farmbrough, 12:26 13 June 2010 (GMT).

I fail to see how the coal bag substitutes pack yak[edit source]

Isn't the pack yak used to carry extra runite ore in the downmost money making way in the list? Why is the coal bag marked as a possible replacement for a pack yak? The coal bag can only carry 27 coal, which doesn't really help much considering the coal is noted anyway. 213.216.243.204 12:32, July 10, 2010 (UTC) Hessuu

???[edit source]

"Note that you no longer have to wear any Varrock armour due to an update by JaGeX."

If that's the case, then explain how I can't do it without the armor? Tried to do so, and Jeffery told me that I am not an exceptional person and need to wear the armor.

I guess it's back to Falador for my smithing needs for the time being...

Mithril Platebodies at Blast Furnace[edit source]

Why do we keep Mithril platebodies at blast furnace on there. That is a shitty long as way to make money! Maybe training smithing to get profit, but anyone who does that for a money making method is just stupid.

godsword blade[edit source]
