Why not use porters or GotE?

I admittedly have only done one muspah task so far, and that was with melee, but I wore Grace of the Elves and found it relaxing, easy. I'll have to test my kill per hour speed this way, as well as the profit, including with my runes for high alchemy; but is there a particular reason this guide avoids porters?
