Redirect to Aftermath[edit source]

Eventually we should redirect this to Aftermath... Woodcutting-icon.pngHyenastetalk 02:37, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Merging[edit source]

Do we need amore than one article about useless riots?Wintumber tree.png Atlandy 21:08, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Should not be merged with Pay to Pk riot as this was a completly seperate incident. --Whiplash 22:18, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
A riot on the same day?Wintumber tree.png Atlandy 22:22, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Just because it was on the same day does not mean it is the same riot. Zeldafanjtl 17:16, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

So there should be riot pages for each individual riot and who was there? Were there not mods at other riots?Wintumber tree.png Atlandy 17:18, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
This was a completely different riot. Sure it was on the same day but it's not the same thing. Nrox653 22:45, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
You dont see my point, As a reslut of a mod "being present" does it warrant another page? Is the presence of a "mod" that important to make a page stating that? Wintumber tree.png Atlandy 22:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Apparently you don't understand the main reason this riot started is because of a mod appearing and having players flame him. This took place in Edgeville and lasted for a short while, and the other one is still going on and is in Falador. Plus you do realize that you're the only one saying it should be merged, right? Nrox653 01:08, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
And according to your logic, why not just have every riot squished together into one page with minimal details about each event? *rolls eyes* Nrox653 01:09, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
That's a great idea. Do it. ChristineTalk 01:31, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
The page isn't hurting anything why don't we just leave it be. Whiplash 04:21, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

I say "keep as it having its own page" per this. Dragon medium helm! Whaddaya know?Chiafriend12Better than rune!Loon is best buttlord 04:28, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

That is not correct chia. By that reasoning, everything that happens in RS deserves a page. If I dance across Falador, Do I get a page for that? Wintumber tree.png Atlandy 15:23, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
You can, though it would go in your userspace. It would not go in the mainspace, because things that are not notable do not get a page. If we had a page on everything that happened in-game, there would be many, many one-lined page, saying that a player did a single action. I certainly wouldn't want to read them, and I don't think others would either. Dragon medium helm! Whaddaya know?Chiafriend12Better than rune!Loon is best buttlord 20:38, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

It was a different riot in the sense that it took place somewhere else, but this riot was about the same things as the other riot(s?) and rants. Sure, the riot started because a mod shown up, but would it have happened if the mod had showed up without the update being released first ? Certainly not, mods don't create riots by themselves. I think all these things could be merged in some "Dec 10 2007 updates riots" page. Second-abyssal-whip.pngPatheticcockroachGuthan's platebody.png(Talk) 17:21, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

I say keep it. There are atleast 3 major riots that have occured in respone to these updates, and these have ranged from lasting 15 minutes to lasting on and off for weeks. By combining all the riots, plus the overall aftermath of the update, we'll have one huge article on our hands, and one with minimal details. I've added a "see also" section to each of these articles. Morian Smith 00:56, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

It impacted runescape so keep it ططط 22:05, 3 May 2008 (UTC) Keep it. Its a piece of RS history...--RFZ 22:09, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
