Weight[edit source]

I have proof that the weight is not 0.5:

  • 1 Mining supply, 2 bat bones = 1kg
  • 1 Mining supply, 1 bat bone = 0kg
  • 1 Mining supply, 1 bat bone, 13 vials of water = 1kg
  • 1 Mining supply, 1 bat bone, 12 vials of water, 1 misc key = 1kg

x + 0.1 + 0.24 + 0.01 = 1 x = 0.65

Weight is 0.65

I tried this with Herblore supplies and it seems to hold true as well. Maybe jumping the gun, but I'd say it's likely the same for the rest as well. --Jlun2 (talk) 05:17, September 21, 2014 (UTC)

With 20 smithing supplies - 9 kg

  • 0.5 * 20 = 10kg
  • 0.35 *20 = 7kg

Anyone help with what went wrong? It's clear that the weight is between 0.35 - 0.5, but did I calculated something wrong, or one of the weights mentioned in the weight talk page wrong? --Jlun2 (talk) 20:26, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

In case no one knows where I got the weights: Talk:Weight#How to weigh items --Jlun2 (talk) 20:52, September 23, 2014 (UTC)
Let me clarify the problem
x + 0.1 + 0.24 + 0.01 = 1
x = 0.65
0.65 * 20 = 13, but at 20 supplies I weigh 9 kg. Either smithing supplies weigh more, or the weights are wrong. I'm thinking of the former. --Jlun2 (talk) 21:00, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

Not some where people are getting these very specific weights as of late, but they seem to disagree: https://runescape.wiki/w/Mining_supplies?curid=452944&diff=13975911&oldid=12357555 . IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 15:38, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
