According to RS:PLAYER:

Players are only allowed to be mentioned in articles for a few reasons, all of which should be cited, if possible. The only reasons are that the player is:

  • Highly notable, such as Durial321's involvement with the Falador Massacre
  • Specifically mentioned by Jagex (this only applies to the Updates archive)
  • A hiscore first (99 or 120 in a skill, 200 million experience, Seasonal HiScores)

As the players that were chosen to become Menaphos Insiders are highly notable to the article, and a source can be cited, is it therefore okay that we include the players names within the article? Bare in mind there were only 20 insiders chosen (15 of which have "officially" joined by joining the Discord server in emails they were sent), so it wouldn't be a long addition to the page. jayden 13:11, May 10, 2017 (UTC)

Eh, I'm tempted to say naw. After all, there is (or was) a list of FMods, which are highly notable to the FMod page, but arenae listed. And this is an ongoing thing, which means those insiders may change their names, and then we'll have the issue of how to deal with that (we've seen the edit wars of the hiscores firsts). I think listing the players would be to overstate their importance. The way I see it, they're like Patreon backers - they get a bit of exclusivity but they're nae really all that important. Provide a link to the source but that's it I'd say What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 10:22, May 12, 2017 (UTC)
