Cooking gauntlets[edit source]
Do cooking gauntlets have any effect over these things while cooking??? has anyone tried for a difference??? (like 100 mantarays with gauntlets and other 100 without them) -- BURNTICEJ http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/4443/silverv.jpg 16:34, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
- The article says: "Manta rays are very difficult to cook and players will still burn them with 99 Cooking and cooking gauntlets", so even with gauntlets you will occasionally burn mantas. I'm not sure if gauntlets decrease the amount of burnt mantas, though. Oil4 Talk 16:36, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
- I had read the article, sorry for not stating? What is missing is what neither of us know: if using gauntlets decreases the burn rate. I know that probably not, but it would be nice to be sure-- BURNTICEJ http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/4443/silverv.jpg 16:42, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
- The experimental results are now in the article. It is confirmed that cooking gauntlets cut burn rate, though how much it cuts it by is dependent on cooking levels. The erroneous claim that it didn't help has been removed. Tomomi 16:11, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
i would like to know how many you burn at 91 with and without gauntlets and how many you burn at 99 with and without gauntlets and also using the range in lumbridge... is it possible to make a profit?
Azliq7 suggested the split, so let's discuss it here.
It's just like sapphire.

Consensus has already been achieved for the raw version of all fish articles. Chicken7 said that he would take on the job of splitting all the pages, I think that adding the split template was just a reminder. Evil Yanks talk 07:05, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
