Missing My Mummy[edit source]

Although stated to be part of the series by Jagex, it does not fit into the "Main Series" section. It doesn't have Tale of the Muspah as a prerequesite, nor does it advance the plot of TotM in any way, so it can't be a sequel. Let's keep it in "Related". --Armadyl symbol.png Nightgunner Talk Illuminated Book of Law.png 20:00, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

What about Curse of Arrav? That did not really advance the plot in TotM either. The way I see it, all three are part of the series, but rather going in a straight line, they all start at different spots and converge into one coherent storyline. However I cannot be certain until future quests are released. But my main question is why does Curse of Arrav belong when Missing My Mummy does not? kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 00:24, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

The plot of MotM seems to be the Mahjarrat Ritual. Missing My Mummy had nothing to do with the Ritual. It had nothing to do with the Mahjarrat either, aside from a few subtle references. While Curse of Arrav was more about Arrav than it was about the Ritual, it still advanced the plot though in sutble ways such as Lamistard's "dairies" and Zemouregal's notes. While Senliten had a role in the quest, it was a small one and did not do much to advance plot points introduced in MMM.

I'm not saying that Missing My Mummy doesn't have a place on the page, I'm just saying that it fits better in the "Related" section. --Armadyl symbol.png Nightgunner Talk Illuminated Book of Law.png 03:26, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Now that I think about it, I think you are right. Missing my Mummy didn't even address the ritual at all, which is something the other quest did. However as the storlyline progresses Missing my Mummy might be pulled in later along in a more relevant way. kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 19:11, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Missing My Mummy is another start quest (both are "number 1" in the series) because Tale of Muspah isn't required by MMM. --Muhahaa 07:21, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Aside from a quote from Paul, and being a requirement for The Curse of Arrav, how would you say it is part of the series? --Armadyl symbol.png Nightgunner Talk Illuminated Book of Law.png 01:59, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
Well, if nobody has anything else to say on the matter, I'll move Missing My Mummy to the "Related" section tomorrow. --Armadyl symbol.png Nightgunner Talk Illuminated Book of Law.png 06:38, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
It is my opinion that if a Jagex mod said MMM is a part of the series, it is, and we'll find out why when the time comes. I don't think it's a good idea to judge. We don't have the full story. They do. let's take their word for it. 21:09, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Defender of Varrock[edit source]

Shouldn't Defender of Varrock also be a part of this quest series, since the Curse of Arrav is a part of it, too?

evil and mysterous creatures.[edit source]

there is NO EVIDINCE that all mahjarrat are evil.

Mahjarrat quests[edit source]

Shouldn't Hazeel Cult, Enakhra's Lament and Fight arena also be added to this quest series? As they all involve a Mahjarrat. Miasmic Blitz icon.png Hapi007 Talk! Sign! . 07:18, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

No. This is the Mysteries of the Mahjarrat, not just the 'Mahjarrat'. Only quests of which Jagex has said that they are in this series should be added. The other ones are in other series, even though they also involve Mahjarrat. Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 07:22, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Seconded. However, at least Enakhra's Lament should be added to the Related Quests. 02:17, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Surely they should all be added to "Related quests". That's what they are, right? Hazeel Cult and Fight Arena are no less related than Defedner of Varrock, it's just that that one involves Zemouregal who's also in the Curse of Arrav. They'll all be in the last one, presumably, so they aught to be related. 11:33, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Where's the WGS reference?[edit source]

Unfortunately I don't have enough time to read most of the article (supposed to be studying for an exam right now..) but it states "Mysteries of the Mahjarrat is a quest series that involves the Mahjarrat, a race of mysterious shape-shifters from another realm, Freneskae. It is one of the newest quest series but also interlinks though not fully connecting some of RuneScape's hardest quests including Desert Treasure and While Guthix Sleeps.". I see in the contents table there is no reference to WGS. If this is true, can the introduction please be edited? Will do after exam if haven't changed --Teri (: 10:12, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

Lucien, a Mahjarrat, is the main antagonist in While Guthix Sleeps, and I suspect that's what the introduction's getting at. In a similar vein, Desert Treasure involves Azzanadra, another Mahjarrat. 10:14, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

Right. Can somebody please update that? I will after exam (I'm really bad at procrastinating, as you can probably tell) but I would also need to completely read the WGS article.. *lazy* (plus, I need to be at school in half an hour..) --Teri (: 19:05, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
