Untitled[edit source]

I changed the paragraph to read that Barlak will buy the long bone for 1,000. It used to say 5,000 which is wrong. I don't know how to change it in the info box. Hopefully somebody else can correct the info box store price to say 1,000 instead of 5,000.

how do you claim this 1.5k xp fro, the long bone? Is there someone you have to go to or do you just bury it at 30+ construction? I cannot test the burying yet, my construction is only 19. --Arpaleggia 22:31, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

You redeem the exp by bringing it to the cave goblin city. You need to bring it to Barlak I think. Do not bury it Wintumber tree.png Atlandy 22:33, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Why does store price say 'Sell to Barlak for 1,000 coins' when you get 2K by selling it?Arimu 16:33, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

It's definitely 1k, I just checked. Sathe 17:46, January 24, 2010 (UTC)

Why does it say the 'warning this bone is valuable blah blah' message no longer appears? I just got a bone and accidentally tried to bury it and the message appears. Does it only appear the first time? Sathe 17:41, January 24, 2010 (UTC)

The warning doesn't appear to me either. Glad I checked the talk page before adding it to the article. There was no confirmation, it just buried the long bone. Maybe a quest requirement? I don't think Jagex keeps changing it. 3ICE (talk) 04:41, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

I fought Nail Aslaif in Glorious Memories and he dropped a long bone. I understand if this needs more conformation so I put it here.Toen6 13:48, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

You are right Toen6, as a Yeti, it's normal that it drop long bones. As yeti were not added, I took the time to add it with the note you requested.Proulxs 15:25, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

No bone monsters[edit source]

I've noticed that Mutated jadinko male and Mutated jadinko guard both drop long bones despite not normally dropping bones of any sort. Does anyone else know of other monsters like this, or are they a unique case? Dsctatom 03:28, August 25, 2011 (UTC)

No Warning Message when Burying[edit source]

Hey guys, I just got a Long Bone at the Cyclops. I tried to bury it, and did NOT recieve a warning message. The bone was burried just like any other bone. 131.230.100.221 07:50, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. This is enough data for me to boldly go and remove the erroneous line from the article. 3ICE (talk) 08:36, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

Warning May Not Appear Prior to Unlocking Dorgeshuun[edit source]

There seems to be a lot of talk of the warning appearing, or not appearing, and people wanting to change the wiki (They are all old discussions, but they don't seem to be resolved). I had 5 at one point, and buried one just to see if there was an actual warning message. This was before I had done any of the Dorgeshuun quests, and I received no warning. Now, after completing about half of the Dorgeshuun quests, with access to the city, I tried to bury another and I did receive the warning. For now I'm going to edit the page to acknowledge the possibility of quest-completion as a factor, just so others don't mistakenly bury one expecting to see some kind of warning message. I've completed The Lost Tribe and have not yet started Death to the Dorgeshuun, and I can confirm I get no warning message when burying Long Bones, so I've removed the uncertainty from the paragraph. Murray65536 (talk) 03:33, February 5, 2018 (UTC)
