notice the 3 colors of the broodoo victims, green, white, and red-orange. could these have some thing to do with the colors of the tree main gods?

Postbag from the Hedge[edit source]

I sent a question to Postbag from the Hedge, inquiring about this. Hopefully they will respond. Timeroot TalkContribsEdit count 03:54, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Marimbo[edit source]

Wouldn't he technically be a Karamjan god, or something of the like? He's not even referenced as a God in the shortcut box at the bottom of each god page.

I'm no expert on the subject, but as he's the monkey god, he would be a god of Ape Atoll rather than Karamja. That's just my speculation, though. He IS in the shortcut template though, under the "Lesser Known Gods" section. Penguin mask.pngChewy (Talk) 02:37, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Ahh, I must have missed that, I was rather drowsy as I wrote this. I guess it's up to the wikia, but I'd rather not get a whole issue about it, because, as you said, he's a monkey god. However, they are on Karamja, which led to my initial question. Zaros symbol.pngChaos Monk Talk SignCoins 250.png 01:40, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

The entire existence of this article. ma[edit source]

This entire article is pretty pointless. The entire article is based on a reference Trufitus Shakaya makes to wanting to commune with "his gods". Nothing about his gods are mentioned, so it's pretty probable (and extremely likely) that he's referring to the gods in general. The fact that Zamorak gets referred to in Shilo Village seems to confirm this. Adventurer's log Wahisietel (Talk) Quest map icon.png 08:35, August 16, 2012 (UTC)

God or gods?[edit source]

In the recent Q&A Mod Osbourne mad it pretty clear there is only 1 Karamja God.

"The Karamjan god will play a big part in future content. They'll be central to a lot of what happens in coming story."

Please remember that "They" doesn't mean multiple, it just removes gender Elfangor 11:22, March 19, 2013 (UTC)

In the recent podcast he says they're working on one Karamjan god and that there may be others 120.145.131.80 14:46, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, here's the quote, on the bottom of the page "The Karamjan god will play a big part in future content. They'll be central to a lot of what happens in coming story." Does anyone, now, have any reason to think this article should stay plural rather than singular, other wise I shall change it. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Yes: the game suggests there are multiple. Whatever Mod Osborne says doesn't matter until it's reflected in-game. Also, why did you add the Fact template? There IS a source right there. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 07:00, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
Zamorak being one of them.. he's hardly a Karamjan god. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. Enquidou Talk This user likes to do Quests and genuinely loves the story line; lore is his love! . . 15:02, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
Mod Osborne said that there are indeed multiple gods, but that a specific one will be the focus of future content. Adventurer's log Wahisietel (Talk) Quest map icon.png 07:31, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
Source? Because he didn't say there were multiple Karamjan gods to my knowledge. Here I'm anticipating on your 'source': if you have 1 Fremmenik + 1 Karamjan god = 2 gods, yes, that would be plural. But it's still one, singular Karamjan god. Which is all he mentioned. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. Why is it relevant what Mod Osborne mentioned? >.> User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 16:17, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
Are you incapable of having a serious talk about this? . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. Enquidou Talk This user likes to do Quests and genuinely loves the story line; lore is his love! . . 14:42, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
I'm not going to dignify that with a response. Do stay on topic, at any rate. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 15:13, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Haha, of course not. Let me as you a different question then: Why is it not relevant what Mod Osborne mentioned? . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Because game > Jmod quotes. And if he said there is only one god this should be ignored since the game suggests there are multiple. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 16:37, September 4, 2014 (UTC)
And those gods spoken about are Saradomin, Zamorak. Shilo village might give you an actual hint. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. Shilo Village doesn't give any information about the Karamjan pantheon afaik. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 06:07, September 6, 2014 (UTC)
Try Tattered scroll: "His devout mother Rashiliyia was so heartbroken that she swore fealty to Zamorak if he would return her son to her.". I quickly checked and I couldn't really find any other mention of other gods by name. Just the plural, like Trufitus said in the Jungle potion quest ("They have returned to the jungle and I need to commune with the gods to see what fate befalls us. You can help me by collecting some herbs that I need."), which could mean a whole host of things. Meanwhile Mod Osborne was a lot more clear about it. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. This is about the Karamjan gods, not Zamorak. And while Trufitus didn't specify whether he meant a specific jungle pantheon or your average Sara, Guthix and Zimzam, we know now that he referred to a specific set of Karamjan gods since Mod Osborne confirmed there is something in store for them. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 15:45, September 14, 2014 (UTC)

How can it be about "the Karamjan godS"??? I showed you evidence that only points to 1 god, not plural. The plural of Karamjan gods that I showed you is only "plural Karamjan" in the sense that Karamjan people recognize them as gods they worship. This could be this unidentified Karamjan god Osborne was talking about (very likely), Zamorak (quite likely too) and maybe one or more (might be). Otherwise... come up with some evidence, other than arguments that show nothing or can be just as easily formulated against your position. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. We know there are 'gods' on Karamja and since Osborne confirmed there is at least one Karamjan god, we can logically deduce these gods Trufitus refers to as the Karamjan gods. Case closed. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 11:07, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
Incorrect, Osborne said there were gods they still wanted to release: 1 Karamjan god, 1 Fremennik god. The plural of gods that the people refer to on Kaamja have no names, besides the one in the Shilo village quest, that name is Zamorak. The other god (making it plural) would likely be the Karamjan god Osborne talked about. There could be other gods on Karamja, but that's not certain at all. Again, you're incorrect and I am correct. Now the case is closed. You're welcome ;) . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium.
