Combat Level - Floor + Complexity or Your CB?[edit source]
I was under the impression that the boss' combat level varied according to your and your groups combat levels. I'm on floor 8, complexity 6, and I got a level 90 Icy Bones boss soloing with my combat at 95. Please correct me if I'm wrong. 78.86.193.66 17:57, April 13, 2010 (UTC)
I think it depends on your cmb level/groups level. I am doing floor 6 complexity 6 with my combat level being 121 - solo and I'm fighting a level 188 icy bones. Dux bell0rum 02:19, April 16, 2010 (UTC)
I've been looking into this with people from my clan and let them keep a list of bosses encountered. Boss Combat Levels seem to be based on the total CB level of the team (not the average level) the Complexity and Floor Level.
The Boss Combat Levels are a lot lower in F2P (capping at around 100 if you're combat 126).88.159.244.83 13:32, April 17, 2010 (UTC)

weakness[edit source]
I only fought icy bones once but when i did he used the staglagmite attack but it didn't do anything and they were really little. I think this has to do with a range i had lit earlier in the dungeon. I'll check this out. some more. Briod the Bean 21:37, April 14, 2010 (UTC)
Summoning familiar[edit source]
I just used a wise skinweaver summon against icy bones and I did not receive any error like it says in the guide. My familiar fights just fine...Can anyone else please confirm this and if so lets get it changed to be correct? Dux bell0rum 02:21, April 16, 2010 (UTC)
I was able to get my skinweaver to attack him too, I got the error first but after moving and making it attack again it fought him normally.FF7Forever 15:43, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

When your editing, click the source mode button up the top of the page. This lets you edit tables (i think) Candle Max

Table in Stats section unhelpful to readers[edit source]
The table in the Stats section does not provide any information that could be useful to readers. There are also several rows that do not list the combat levels of contributors. I would also like to suggest that the "Average combat level" column be replaced with a column for "Combat levels of all participants" as well as adding a "Difficulty" column (meaning 1:1 for solo, 5:4 for many larger teams). I think this will allow for more thorough collection of information, while leaving the actual Icy Bones article clear and to the point with information that readers can benefit from.
