Healing vs Proximity To The Crystal[edit source]
Do we know what the healing persentage is for how far away you are from it? According to jagex, it is1-7%, but how far do you need to be before you start getting healed less? Green Mage48 (talk) 23:15, May 19, 2014 (UTC)
- Did some testing; when you stand two squares away, you start getting healed less. -- SpineTalk 23:40, May 19, 2014 (UTC)
Ok, this is really noobish, but since I suck at PvM, so...
- Use Ice Asylum
- Logout 5 mins
- Login and gain adrenaline
- Repeat above steps
I'm confused...[edit source]
The page says the following:
|“||When used in solo combat situations, this ability will heal up to 42% of the user's health compared to the 40% healed by Rejuvenate and Guthix's Blessing. This makes Ice Asylum the best heal of the three as long as the player is able to stand next to the crystal for the full duration. Ice Asylum can heal up to a total health equal to 300% of the player's maximum health.||”|
|“||Summons a crystal with a total healing capacity equal to three times the caster's maximum life points. It will heal anyone standing near it for 1-7% of their maximum life points every 4 seconds, based on their proximity to the crystal. The crystal disappears after 20 seconds or after reaching its healing capacity, whichever comes first.||”|
So it can heal either 42% or 300%, but 20/4=5x a heal, and for the max heal in those 20 seconds: 5*7%=35%... I'm not sure where the error is :-/ Can anyone explain?

- I am guessing it heals 7% each at t=0, t=4, t=8, t=12, t=16 and t=20, for a total of 42%. The cap of 300% is probably the total cap it can heal amongst all players so if you have 8 or more players sharing the crystal you won't get the full 42%. If you can stay near the crystal this is better healing, if you need stat-restore and have a shield Rejuvenate is better, if you need to be able to move and save inventory space Guthix' blessing is better, if you need to move and want to save adrenaline Enhanced Excalibur is better (although its healing is spread over a longer time). 19:06, November 21, 2015 (UTC)
