Random other strategies

Melee only: place ggs right outside of boss door. Tele out when binded, hobgobby will walk straight to door; walk into room, continue assault.

Melee only: Run away every time you attack. Hobgobby will bind come within melee range if he binds you.

Ranged only: Assuming you have good magic def, drop a gatestone in a random location fight. Tele there once he binds you (so you escape melee range), remember to make another gatestone.
