Untitled[edit source]

How much damage do you think one would able to do with 66 strength, a power amulet and the Granite Maul? FYI, Power Ammy and Maul make a str bonus of +87.

How to make?[edit source]

How's it made??? immibis 23:42, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

It can't be made, it's obtained as a drop.--

Oo, that link doesnt work... This might. Here

Where is it sold?[edit source]

Where can I buy the Granite maul in a store for 20,000 coins?

You can't buy it for 20K, you can sell it for 20K to a General store. FredeTalk 20:53, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Darn

Obtaining (Getting) It[edit source]

Is there any way to get it besides the GE and Gargoyels?

I've heard you can get them as a drop in PvP/Bounty worlds FredeTalk 06:50, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Price spike[edit source]

What's up with the price spiking over last month? I'm sure merchant clans don't move this slowly. Keyonte0 05:33, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

They move at all speeds, depending on how many people are buying, how many people are selling, and how many things there are. Also please do not call them "merchant clans". That is a name that they have concocted for themselves to hide the fact that they are cancer. Please refer to them by their proper name: manipulation clans or price manipulators. Thanks! The price was steady until last month, could it have been all those bounty/PvP changes? Keyonte0 05:39, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Its possible. I don't know whether they were in the PvP drop tables before, but if they were that could be a cause. kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 06:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

New GIF needed?[edit source]

The image that's currently there shows the special attack, but doesn't really exhibit how it works instantly. Could someone get an updated animation that shows the two attacks in quick succession, as intended by the special? Wires77 00:34, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

"When the granite maul was first released, players were allowed to "pre-set" a Special attack by clicking on the special bar as a npc died or other similar fashion, then recharging the special bar. Using this "glitch," players would then be able to use two consecutive special attacks on top of one another, allowing potentially 4 devastating hits instead of the now 3. At that time, granite mauls were one of the most, if not most, popular form of "3-hitting" enemies in the wilderness (as opposed to say, a dragon dagger.) Maul pures were thus born, with 50 attack, 1 defence, and extremely high strength. However, this glitch was patched soon thereafter, leaving many players disappointed. "

This isn't true, when the granite maul was first released its special attack automatically hit the players maximum, players abused the glitch not to get 4 special attacks, but to get 3 max hits instead of one normal hit and 2 max hits.
