Gandywhateveryoucallit Armour[edit source]
With the new armour from the Polypore Dungeon, would that be effective at frost dragons? is the frost dragon melee attack a stab attack?
If the melee attack is not stab based, the new gandy armour from polypore would be exceptional to use at frosts, due to its huge magic and melee absorption (yes they dont hit over 200 often, but if its a 200+ mage hit, that can be as little as 94?), and its expectional defensive bonuses.
Not really cost-effective as it vanishes after 200 minutes of combat use. 220.127.116.11 12:52, November 30, 2011 (UTC)
Dragonbane Bolts Effective[edit source]
Removing the part about dragonbanes not being as effective. For their ranged strength and my level/boosts, I should be hitting around 315-320, and was consistently hitting well over 400, often around 450.

Since when was complete protection from dragon fire useless?[edit source]
Sorry, but this
"Before you read this article it is important to note that if you choose to keep protect from magic on at all times, there is no need for an anti dragon shield, or a dragonfire shield. In similar context, using a super antifire with protect from magic is simply wasting your super antifire potion, as the message "Your prayers offer some protection from the dragon breath" will appear whenever the dragon breathes on you when you have protect from magic active. A lower level and higher level set up is posted below for this method." is *complete* nonsense.
According to the author, either a praying against magic attack is equal to a super antifire, of that there is no need to block the rest of the damage. Next, the author also affirms that praying against magic attacks is also equal or superior to anti-fire shields.
This is incorrect, as the superantifire and antifire shields block more than the prayer against magic attacks; next, he fails to say the effect of such prayers, instead only showing the game message; and also fails to show the effectiveness of each anti-fire factor.
Should this article go without this incorrect information?18.104.22.168 04:33, April 28, 2012 (UTC)
Maging at Frost Dragons?[edit source]
I know that it's usually not recommended to Mage there but has anyone actually tried Maging? I posted a thread in Zybez forums about the Hit chance. It's actually possible to 100% hit Frosts, given 95 Prayer ability, 99 Mage and Overloads and using an Arma B-Staff with Air Surge.
