## Is part B even required?

Apart from the fact that part B seems to contain an error (I'm taking the word of a friend here, can't confirm it as I've already completed the quest), is it even necessary? Parts A and C lower the medium and high stacks, so they are of course required, but part B (extra moves) and even part D (infinite moves) seem to be optional - every part, as described in the guide, can be completed in less than 50 steps. Admittedly, unlocking infinite moves makes repetition of parts E and F much easier, but why is there a need to do part B at all?

80.161.106.147 19:13, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

Aaaand, realising I hadn't done the quest on my noob char, I went and confirmed this - part B can be skipped with no consequence.80.161.106.147 01:13, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Since you need to do about 4 moves each time you make another bar, I think there is good reason to do part D. Stewbasic 22:15, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

## Glitch in Part E/spin tower

I've tried the Part E/spin tower bit several times and there seems to be an error. I get a nothing happens message when I pull lever E for the first time in the spin tower bit.--AnselaJonla 12:40, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Thats excatly my problem. This page artical needs updating.. (So does my spelling LOL) 82.34.17.59 17:08, May 31, 2010 (UTC)FREED82.34.17.59 17:08, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Fixed. Original solution: 4,5,3,c,4,b,c,3,e,5 <- e5 is the one that is breaking the cycle, doesnt make sense to add E5 either. Fixed solution: 4,5,3,c,4,b,c,3 <-still, the c between 3 and 4 is uncessary, but it did no harm either. New solution: 4,5,3,4,b,c,3 Here is what happens: hole: c3 nextstep:4 hole: c4 nextstep:5 hole: c5 nextstep:3 (tower drops) hole: c3 nextstep:4 hole: c4 nextstep:b hole: b4 nextstep:c (tower spins) hole: c4 nextstep:3 hole: c3 (repeat) (tower raises)

Hope this helps Gspbeetle 08:52, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

It appears that most of the Parts in this article doesn't seem to work. We need to fix this. Please Respond to this topic. 16:36, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Thats exactly my problem. This page artical needs updating.. (So does my spelling LOL)
Part B has been updated by someone. I tried it twice. Still incorrect information. 17:47, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

There needs to be a creditable source to go through the quest from the beginning and get the answers. And then possibly secure the page so it is not altered, since it is such a tedious task. xScoobsx Talk Contribs 17:09, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Well we could separate the puzzle solution by putting it into a separate page, and then put the protect the page to stop vandals. Then all we need to do is include the puzzle solution page back onto the walkthrough and voila. But first we need to see if all the solutions are correct and then we need an admin to move and protect it. Just a suggestion, LordDarkPhantom 12:19, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
I agree with this solution. Part B is incorrect. But all the other methods are Good. I tried everything under Part B and they work perfectly. Part A is Good as well. Part B is the only problem. 19:20, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

The final step in creating the 2nd body bar doesn't work, the walkthrough missing out powering the thing for the 2nd bar, thanks a lot, last time I use a quest guide on here. Lord784 14:20, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe you misunderstood it. I did the first time. But the last code for re-raising and lowering of the tower works perfectly. Just keep repeating the code at the end. 17:28, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

## Incorrect

Part B is wrong! I got to Part B but it doesn't work! >:(Qazwsx753421 23:03, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Yes. We are currently discussing that. 12:32, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

It's difficult to follow the guide mainly because I keep losing my place. I was thinking that it should be turned into one of those tables in which where you click a cell, it changes color. Just a thought. Krayfish 00:16, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Clarification- You know, just like the one on the Distractions and Diversions Locations. Krayfish 00:24, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Good idea, or maybe rather than listing the moves, diagrams showing sets of moves - usually a rectangular circuit is chosen to move certain squares to their destination (well that's how I do it). Rich Farmbrough, 11:04 10 June 2010 (GMT).

## Spin tower

I did the spin tower part with much less moves. I can't rember it all, but from E you don't rest, and then you start with and E,3,B i think.

## Hard

"With some protest in the forums about how hard the puzzles... " well I admit I thought (with Sherlock Homes on the cover of a classic edition of Punch) "Not another paltry intellectual puzzle!" when I saw the set up, but really it's just a glorified slider puzzle - I tried the walkthrough but abandoned it for free-sliding. Certainly glad I don't need 1000 primed body bars for Shattered Heart though! Rich Farmbrough, 16:17 9 June 2010 (GMT).

## Body Language

I have added the body language bit to the trivia section, if someone else could check it for me, maybe correct any bad grammar or spelling, that'd be nice. ~Purity464 Yeh thats fine, i checked it. Thanks. 01:42, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

## part C

Where did part C go?

Preskompres 10:13, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Part B and C have been merged. [Composite 4] (My Talk)

## help pls

This should work: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/3414/puzzler.png 10:43, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Now do this, start at green: http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/3414/puzzler.png 11:34, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

## Part D Does Not Work!

As the title says, I am going to try the solution once more and post back (in case the mistake was mine) but I'm pretty sure part D is faulty. [Composite 4] (My Talk)

Also, I reset after charging the first bar because the shortcut didn't work and part D didn't work for me so I ran out of moves. But now it won't spin even if I repeat the steps o.o [Composite 4] (My Talk)

## Confirmation

I have been making a lot of body bodies via Youtube guides, and I'm wondering if The Rs Wiki has completed the guide. Can someone confirm that all the puzzle guides work? SpineTalk 02:03, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

I have just completed the quest and I can say that all the guides work perfectly fine. I had to reset the whole thing to make the second bar, so the guide for the quick reset for the 2nd body bar needs to be rechecked. Austichar 09:33, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

I made a thing to check the solutions, and they seem fine (except for the part about producing more bars; I think if the tower is up and the gap is in position C3, the sequence 4 3 4 B C 3 should bring the tower down, charge it, and put it back up). Also I think the solution can be much shorter if one doesn't reset between each part:

• E 3 F 5 B 4 C 2 F 6 D 5 C 3 B 6 C 3 F 6
• Reset
• C 5 A 6 F 5 A 6 C 5 B 4 C 6 F 2 C 6 F 2 C 6 F 4 E 5 C 6 F 4 E 5
• 2 A 3 C 2 B 3 F 2 C 3 E 2 D 3 F 2 B
• 5 E 4 F 6 B 2 F 6 B 2 F 6 B 2 F 3 C 2 F 6 B 4 C 2 F 4 E 2 B 4 C 3 4 B C 3

Stewbasic 11:08, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Someone break the code by adding E 3 at the end of the original solution. It is now fixed by removing E3. C in between is also removed as that move is in fact an error which does nothing at all. However the solution now still contains redundunt steps. You might notice thast we have repeated the step of shifting hole to c3 during dropping and spinning the tower. I suggest that we should move on to the 4-step solution that some or our comrades has already shown to us on above by vairous diagrams and youtube videos. Gspbeetle 03:55, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Hey guys, i'm pretty sure that the last part of the puzzle isn't right, because it won't show an option to press the red button afterwards. Please edit. or tell me if i did something wrong.71.198.201.187 00:18, July 1, 2010 (UTC)Vik©

If you are talking about the final loop for making more body bars, I have gone back and test it and find no problems. A few things to check first, the "hole" should be in C3 at the start of the loop and the gear box should be surrounding the spinning box in all 360 degress. Finally, you should press the botton after it raises. Gspbeetle 03:10, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I've noticed that this page has been vandalized a few times, especially the part with pulling the levers. So I suggest semi-protecting this page.Krayfish 21:57, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

## Raise Tower

Hey, the Raise Tower part does NOT work. Now I'm stuck and can't get my body body. Doom monger6 01:39, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

O.K., I finally got the body body, but I didn't write it down, so It's still wrong. Doom monger6 01:52, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Figured out a simple "reset." {Key: A-F, 1-7=their respective levers; X=untravelable spots; apart from side, 1=1-level gear, 2=2-level gear, 3=3-level gear; E= empty spot}

 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 A X A B 3 B C X E 1 1 X C D X 1 X 1 X D E X 2 1 X E F X 1 X F 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Solution is: 4, B, C, 3 Doom monger6 02:39, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

O.K. just realized that that's the reset code it says in the article, just with 4 and B switched. If someone could change that... Doom monger6 02:39, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Whoops again, It's actually 4, 3, 4, B, C, 3. Doom monger6 06:50, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

## Thanks

Thanks for this guide. I normally wouldn't do this, but for this quest, I felt that it was called for. This quest was a major pain in the side, and this guide helped make it easier and allowed me to complete it. Instead of playing an entire 24 hour day at it, I spend a grand total of about three hours (I goofed a few times). As a way of saying thanks, I got a fist bump for you. Saved me so much time and headaches it was very, very greatly appreciated.

## Help with the button?

As far as I can tell, I did it all right... it even looks correct in the final picture, with the tower spinning and all. The thing is that the button is inactive when I walk in the control room and pull the lever. It's unresponsive =/

Also, I don't understand this part of the guide: "Make sure the body core is charged and in its highest position or the button will not be usable."

Lastly, in the B+C part of the guide and I think also the C part, a number 5 wraps around after the sequences. Is that actually part of the sequence? It looks really out of place.

Anyway, any ideas? :s http://i52.tinypic.com/2yxew4l.jpg

~Weebie - 03:43, January 17, 2011 (UTC)~

That's EXACTLY what's happening with me. I'm positive I followed every step correctly, but I also have no option to press the button. I don't know what to do now. But for C, I'm sure that last 5 is part of the sequence. ~ Anon

Hey Weebie, I've realized what's gone wrong. You see how it appears you've got one more gear block than is shown in the guide image? That's because there should be a block behind the central tower - but the guide doesn't put it there. So - find a way to move a short block behind that tower and I think that'll solve it? Sorry I couldn't be more of a help - I'm in the middle of the puzzle too and trying to work it out. ~ Anon

Hey, I'm in the exact same trouble and after doing all of that and spent hours on it,

you can't imagine how annoyed i am that i can't press a stupid button.

Please can someone sort something out, this is just fustrating ~ Clair :)

The problem is that there's more than one possible "spin tower" position, and although the "raise tower" instructions work with the position shown in the picture, someone changed the "spin tower" instructions to lead to a different position (which still spins the tower, but don't work with the "raise tower" part). I'll update both sections. I suggest you reset and follow the new instructions in "spin tower" and "raise tower". Stewbasic 15:25, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

I accendentally reset because i couldent get the thing to raise again. now i wanna cry ='( Rhys Darby - NZ pwnage 05:47, March 2, 2011 (UTC)

## D=

I accidentally reset the thing when I got the first Body Bar. Do I have to do the lowering/powering/raising thing all over again?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sonic123678 (talk) on 03:58, 2011 March 19.

Yes, essentially.--Henneyj 04:44, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

## Incorrect Last Section

The last correction doesnt fit with what was written earlier. There is another solution that fits, but i got it by accident, so i dont know.

## What needs to be powered?

Ok This is so stupid. I'm doing part E of the puzzle and when I finally do it write and connect what needs to be connected and I followed the guide, I get this message. Someone please help with what needs to be powered! Please!

Also, is my central tower lowered or not, or is the pattern I'm supposed to do is wrong?

The message stated "Noting interesting happens; perhaps if it were powered first", bit I had to delete the image per RS:NOT#HOST. Try restarting it, maybe you missed something small. ɳex undique 02:30, June 11, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for the confusion. Yesterday i tried the quest again and it turns out I already lowered the tower. I just didn't realize. Sorry for the confusion. ;)

## This is bs. you all had no right to remove B but then make D mandatory.

No i dont want to do 5 million moves to make the counter infinity. Give back the way to unlock only a few.

Dr. Emre 04:55, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

## Images don't match text

The images for "part A" and "spin the tower" aren't consistent with the sequences of moves given for those sections. In particular "It is essential that the puzzle looks exactly alike to the one shown in step 6 of the puzzle" should actually refer to the text, not the image. It'd be great if someone who follows this guide exactly could get screenshots after they complete these parts. Actually someone posted this image above, which shows the correct position for "spin the tower", but it's in low detail. Stewbasic 16:29, July 29, 2011 (UTC)
