Help me please[edit source]
Help me please
I got the first primed bar and I am trying to get the second one, I didn't understand well the instructions to recharge the machine (I am french actually and I got confused, this is a very tricky quest....)
The puzzle looks like this when I reset it, can you tell me what to do ?
- It looks like your next objective would be to break the counter on the right. 16:56, September 25, 2011 (UTC)
OK, from the reset position, do:
3 B 6 A 5 E 6 B 5 E 6 C 2 A 3 B 2 E 6 C 4 B 2 E 6 C 2 E 5 B 6 F 2 C
That should raise the tower, allowing you to make your next bar. After this DO NOT reset. You will be able to make additional bars by repeating this sequence:
4 3 4 B C 3 (push big red button)
Thank you SO much to all of you, I finally finished the quest =D
Gotta say this is the 2nd worst quest i've done. (#1 being mournings end 2). Props to the guy who made this guide as i had no idea what i was doing and just pulled levers for half an hour. :P
stage b does not work for me i have tried 4 times taking 3 and a half hours, sombody tell me how to do this properly! dominic1809.82.44.40.139 19:09, January 24, 2013 (UTC)
Part D reset still looks like Part A[edit source]
Whenever I reset it, it always still looks like Part A, even though I've completed Part D (but there was no cutscene when I finished Part D, unlike Part C and A and maybe B). My quest log though, says I only unlocked two levels, maybe it means those those Part C and A cutscenes? The second one says I now have access to a really tall puzzle piece, yet it still looks like this? Masterguy540 (talk) 00:34, April 16, 2013 (UTC)[[File:Elemental_workshop_iii.jpg|thumb|left|400px]]
Oh wait...When this guide says - EXCEPTION: Multi-level gears that have been unlocked will reset to their lowered, unlocked, position (first seen when they were unlocked) Does it mean the multi-level gears are those multi-layered boxes and they'd stay multi-layered when reset? At first I thought it meant that every box would stay in the same position it was in each step's picture. And are the step pictures showing them when that step is started or finished? Please answer me someone, this quest is so confusing! Masterguy540 (talk) 15:32, April 25, 2013 (UTC)
Whoever wrote this guide is my hero forever.
Holy cow, what a great job.

Running through the guide following the puzzle solution I believe Part D currently has errors in it, or I did something wrong. Either way I believe part D has a faster solution by moving the two blocks needed for completion at the same time. Solution is as follows, would love for someone to check up on this to tell me if I have it right.
2, A, 3, F,
2, A, 3, F,
2, C, 3, F,
2, D, 3, F,
2, E, 3, F,
6, E, 5, D,

3, F, 6, E,
3, F, 5.

Solutions in guide ain't solutions with least number of moves?[edit source]
Did part D with a solution with less number of moves than on the guide. Just thought it is good to share, please check if this is working.
The previous parts can be done with less move than the solutions shown on the guide as well but I didn't mark them down.

NEVER Hit "Reset" Post-Quest![edit source]
If you were a BIIIG idiot (like me), and came back to make more bars SOOO long after originally doing this quest that you COMPLETELY forgot how it "worked", AND you were dumb enough to hit the "reset" lever (like me), let me just save you some time and tell you where to start from:
Start from the "Spinning the tower" section and go from there.
Also, I don't know if this is a "bug" or something, but I only was alloted 65 moves, rather than "infinite", as I should have had (since the counter was out of sync). I even tried to steps to activate "infinite moves" again and it did not work, so I guess I can only make like, 4 or 5 bars now before having to start from "Spinning the tower" part foreever now /cry... Mobile View[edit source]
Runescape mobile, doesn't display the view glass button, if a player wants to view in normal view, hitting the reset button will give you this option, recommended before starting the puzzle, and if you hit the reset button and the view changes, leaving and entering will reset to fixed.
