Trinkets for noting bones incorrect on Blue Drags[edit source]
Killing Blue Dragons and noting bones only requires ONE trinket, not TWO as displayed on the page. Have not yet confirmed other chromatics, but I expect similar results. Mattie (talk) 01:52, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
- I think the article is technically correct as-is (although it's silently picking the maximum number of trinkets used for the QBD), it's at most just an issue of clarity. One trinket is used to note a bones drop, and one trinket is used to note a hide drop (if any). That's universal for all of the dragons listed.
For the example of blue dragons, they have 100% chance drops of 1 bones + 1 blue dragonhide == 2 trinkets used in total. Baby blue dragons, on the other hand, have drops of 1 bones + 0 blue dragonhide == 1 trinket used. MrDew (talk) 07:59, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
- My issue with this is they're listed as one thing, despite being two separate options. It's correct that to note both bones and hides does take two, but the table reads as though they're two each. I feel this is a case where both are technically correct expressions. I'll add a notation to the page to explain that this column is 2 total, or 1 each, now that you've confirmed this isn't something about Blues. My reasoning for the edit was that I came here looking for information, read the page several times, and left with the wrong information due to, for me at least, unclear presentation. Dragonkin Laboratory Uses[edit source]
Can be bought from the Oddment store[edit source]
Trinkets can be bought from the Oddment store [25 trinkets cost 100 oddments]. Similarly metallic trinkets can be bought [5 per 100 oddments]. As written it sounds like they can only be obtained as a drop or via a specific promotion.
