...You mean someone actually alched this? O_o oTHErONE (Contribs) 21:16, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

People have alched party hats. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 21:18, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Current Price[edit source]

I believe the price has descended since the release of Barbarian assault.--Whiplash 01:45, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Just checked the forums, they still are going for the prices mentioned in the article. The gamble away 500 barbarian assault points (including a kill of the queen thingy) only gives a small chance of winning a d-chain. I'd rather kill KQ or even Dusties for a dragon chain.
Dusties? Oh dear. I saw a collective Dusty drop log which totalled well over 100,000 Dusties, in which their were three D'chain drops. I'd rather gamble. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 11:29, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

The Price has been dropping in small increments since the new KQ graphic came out. It now hits slower and less consistently in the higher numbers.

OMG new zoom[edit source]

Well after Hyenaste asked if I could get him a Green Halloween Mask zoom, I went across the hall and talked to my bro, who in turn fired up his....er...you know...illegal means(if you don't what I'm talking about, it's better that way) and got the pic. He called me into his room 5 minutes later, I walked in and he showed me this {{Signatures/Total Rune}}03:50, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Emblem[edit source]

Does the emblem on the d chainbody appear anywhere else?

Huh. I don't know. I've never even thought about that. Dragon medium helm! Whaddaya know?Chiafriend12Better than rune!Loon is best buttlord 03:15, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Just on the chest. Does not appear on the back or anywhere else. Cool Spy0 06:07, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

I was actually wondering if the emblem appeared outside of the chainbody, as a recognizable symbol.

I noticed that the emblem on the d chain looks kinda like the bat symbols seen on the lunar equipment. Maybe theres a relationship between the Moonclan and the dragon equipment?--Pkthis 00:43, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Better chest items question[edit source]

I have read in several places that there are cheaper stuff that has better stats then this, but they rarely say what they are. What are NON-degradeable things that would fall under this catagory (note my atk,str and def are at 73 but i'd like to hear things even at higher levels)? Mathwiz908 21:58, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

I haven't read anywhere about any chest armour that is:
  1. Better than the chainbody;
  2. Non-degradable;
  3. Cheaper than it.

In case you find a guide with those three informations at once, you can bet it's wrong. the only non-degradable chests better than the chainbody are the dragon plate, bandos plate and third age platebodies, and they're all way more expensive, and the best chest armour that is degradable includes the PvP armour and barrows. Quest point cape detail.png Brux Talk 23:22, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

Let's think about it... 1. Rune Platebody has better stab defence (+1) - but other stats are weaker 2. Granite body has better ranged (+15) and stab (+6) defence - but other stats are weaker 3. Other melee armors that req <60 defence and are CHEAPER then D Chain has weaker stats. So you're right. Dragon Chainbody has the best defence bonuses for non-degradable armors with price <8M

Loot from High Gamble[edit source]

I don't think this should be included, as there is no proof of anyone actually getting it. --Fishing Raian the Fallen Talk Runecrafting 04:25, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Barbarian_Assault#Rewards - "To gamble points you can elect to spend 10, 20 or 30 points. Gambling 10 or 20 points will give you random items, but if you want to have a chance of winning anything like a dragon chainbody, you will have to gamble 30 points. Of course, the odds of winning a dragon chainbody are comparable to the odds of Zamorak deciding to give up his evil ways..." Ryan PM 04:33, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
The previous paragraph as well. "Commander Connad has a wide selection of extra equipment that he is willing to offer as a gamble. To gamble your points, simply select one of the three gamble options and you will receive a mystery item - this could be almost anything, from steel arrows to a dragon chainbody." It's just freakishly rare. Same with trying to get it off dusties...HaloTalk 04:37, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

How do people get so much money to buy stuff like the d chain, d platebody, bandos chestplate, etc? Right now i can barely make 1mil a day because i dont have a nice and easy way to make money (ex: merching, however I can't do that much because i am quick chat only). If anyone could help it would help alot because right now i am aiming for a dragon chainbody but I can't make the money in like a week.

MMG. Ronan Talk 20:29, October 26, 2011 (UTC)

The article states the chance of getting it from gambling is 1 in 6,000 in once place and 1 in 1,000,000 elsewhere. I think the 1 in 6,000 is the true one since the other is indirect but there is no mention at the difference either. No source information provided for the chance either.
