Stats?[edit source]

How do we know that darklight has the same stats of a dragon longsword when fighting demons?--71.116.37.15 00:11, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

It would be hitting a demon as if you were using a d long. Though, I haven't tryed that out. Glass of water 00:58, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm going to have to do some experiments to see if this thing is effective aginst vampyre juvinates. If it is, it would be, argueably, the second best existing weapon for fighting them. Wrathanet 20:55, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Let me get this straight: it has the max hit of a dragon long, but keeps its low accuracy. So why would you use this to kill demons if you'd have a weapon like a dragon long or scimmy to begin with? Seems like such a waste... except for noobs with no cash.Leon Art 11:28, March 25, 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing- is there really any reason to use this instead of a dragon long/battleaxe? McBob49 21:46, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

Retrieval "Glitch"[edit source]

The Legends' Guild has a store that sells Silverlight, and you can still access this shop when you have a Darklight. If you lose track of all of your copies of Silver- and Darklight, you are offered a choice of paying 500gp to regain Silverlight or 1000gp to regain Darklight instead. Being able to get a Silverlight after creating Darklight isn't a glitch, it's a plot-hole. I'm revising the article to reflect this. --Bandos godsword.pngBartuccio3Talk Contribs #Rune full helm (Zamorak).png 05:04, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Legends Guild store no longer sells Silverlight, and you are unable to buy Silverlight from Sir Prysin if you have completed Shadow of the Storm quest. Unless someone can prove there are still 'numerous' methods to getting both swords, I'll be deleting that information. Penderwyll 02:45, October 22, 2009 (UTC)
Yes, you can. I've just done it. You MUST be free-to-play though and I'm not sure if there's a delay before the Darklight dialogue stops appearing. Black cavalier.png Zenihdrol Tribal top (blue).png 01:38, November 15, 2009 (UTC)
Ok, how then? I removed the sentence on getting a Silverlight cause it didn't make sense. --Agamemnus 75.67.131.67 23:31, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
It's simple. You lose all of your members credit, walk your way to Sir Prysin, then buy a new silverlight. Drop it if you'd like. Buy another silverlight if you'd like. Drop it if you'd like. Etc, etc. Quest point cape.pngLil Diriz 77 Talk Summoning-icon.png 14:32, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

The sprite and wielded looks didn't get updated in the game, but they actually did update the sprite in their KBase, maybe they just forgot to update it in-game. Look here and here, both taken from the KBase. Quest point cape detail.png Brux Talk 22:29, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Kril[edit source]

Does it work on kril? DuskFalls (talk) 19:24, March 20, 2015 (UTC)

No, it does work on the minions, though...!

See above, was my comment, but hadn't logged in...

The list/s of creatures Darklight works is fine, but the sword itself doesn't get a damage boost against Waterfiends.

Is markedly more accurate on them (hitting 100% of the time) but never really clearing 2,000 damage on EoC.

Consider removing, or adding to trivia that it doesn't work.

I'm leaving it in, since it's going to be fixed soon - see here and here. --Iiii I I I 16:34, March 27, 2015 (UTC)
