Hey Killr-

Instead of running around deleting pages, how about you ask a few questions first, try to understand what the author is trying to do?

You have an idea for a better title? Suggest it.

Here's the deal - on the "rune mace" page, it says that rune maces are rarely used in combat. Why? Is there a better weapon that I can use in "Crush" mode? Tell me where, in the Wiki, I can find that information.

I want to know, for a given combat level, what is the best weapon to use in "crush" mode against a monster that is listed as being weak to crush attacks.

Weapons table#Melee weapons ShinyUnown T | C | E 16:10, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Does not show weapons in order by attack level, in fact doesn't show attack level requirement at all
  • Does not show other requirements (e.g. strength level)

Tell me how I can look at this table and figure out the best weapon to use against a monster weak to crush attack.

A reasonable person might propose that I move this table to the Weapons table. Does that sound like a good idea? Or are you just against the whole idea of this table?

You can feel free to add level requirements to the table I mentioned. ShinyUnown T | C | E 16:25, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Gee thanks.

So I add two columns - attack level, and other requirements. A player that has the same question I do ("for a given combat level, what is the best weapon to use in "crush" mode against a monster that is listed as being weak to crush attacks?") has to know to click on the column heading to sort by attack level, then scan over to the left edge of the table to see what the crush bonus is for that weapon, and then scan back to the right to make sure they are still in the right attack level. This is a good thing?

Why are you so against making it easy for people to find out information?

What does it hurt to add another table/page to the Wiki?

Speedy deletion is for "a blank page? A duplicate? A misspelling? A page filled with nonsense?". This is none of these.

I've added this as a table in the "Weapons table" page, I hope that's an acceptable compromise.
