Is there a way...[edit source]
Is there a way i can get one of these without accually getting level 5 slayer and killing them? Like, buy one pre-stuffed? Thanks
No, you need to get the kill yourself. And to add in, level 5 slayer is not hard to get, unless you are a skiller. You can use reward lamps on it though.

Do the bigger hands give better drops?[edit source]
Drop chance?[edit source]
What is the drop chance? I think its about 0,1% or anyone got numbers?--Mercuri5 13:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't know, because my pet version took over 1000 hands to kill, but recently, I went to the Tower and randomly attacked ONE crawling hand...and got a drop. It's totally random, and I'm not that great with drop chances, anyway... --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko) 13:25, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Dunno : S[edit source]
I killed alot level 8 hands and ony few higher level ones, something like 1:40, and the drop came from the higher level on -.- Could some please confirm that the lower level ones drop the hand to or not...I have killed about 350 small crawling hands in total. Sorry for my English. Thanks
Drop low lvls[edit source]
I found 2 hands at the lower levels during my slayer task. I killed around 150. :)
I second that. I've gotten two hands from these, and both were from the lower level Crawling hands.04:54, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
Drop Theory[edit source]
Ok it's 6 am and I pulled an allnighter. Killing hte hands in all the rooms, then I think "I'm in the last few rooms. Maybe only 1 at a time can hold a crawling hand item. I go to the first section, kill one, and then I have it.
I highly doubt it. Your experience is pure coincidense, mistakend as reason. As a gamer, it might make sence to think of what monsters drop as something they hold or have with them. However, as a programmer, it makes more sence to make the drop something that's randomly determined after the kill. Try to think of it as something like this. No monster has any items or anything. Instead, they are programed AI that participate in combat based on statistics and algorithms created by the program designers. No specific item is associated with any particular monster. When the monster's Life points is reduced to 0, the program then executes a different code, a random shuffle of various items that that monster could drop. We call this the monster's drop table. The items that the monster drops is determined upon death, not upon creation. Otherwise the game would constantly have to keep memory of what items each monster has at any given time until it is killed. The probability of getting a crawling hand corpse as a drop is based purely on the drop table code, executed after the creature dies. Don't get me wrong, I had similar ideas, superstitions, and theories before I knew anything about programing or game mechanics. Misconseptions like these are common and to be expected, but false.
Also, please try to remember to sign your posts in the future. Thank you.07:39, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
I have no idea how to edit the charm log, so I'm just gonna write it here. After 150 killed I've got: 1 Chrimson charm, 2 green charms and 9 gold charms.

- The ring of wealth shining doesn't mean a rare drop table drop, it can just improve the monsters normal drops, which is what happened in this case. 06:53, December 30, 2011 (UTC)

I noticed that Spria wasn't listed as one of the slayer masters who can assign these monsters, whereas Turael is listed. Can someone add her? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Doctor Gaben (talk) on 22:00, December 25, 2017 (UTC).
