Weapons[edit source]

Is it just me, or does the change for the Cosmetic Override for the Weapons confuse other people too? I mean, you can make Longswords look like Whips, or Claws, or Maces. That doesn't make sense to me. Alockwood1 (talk) 01:03, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

Depends on your definition of 'sense' in this specific case: sure, it's not logical that a whip looks like a sword or axe, but not all melee overrides can at least be used by someone using melee. Before, certain overrides were likely rarely used, as they required specific ingame weapons that few people ever use (e.g. maces, ...). IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:57, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
Actually, except for the Whips, most weapons are easy to get, or even buy. Alockwood1 (talk) 15:36, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
My argument wasn't that they are hard to get or are expensive, but that they simply are rarely/never used. People would have to settle for a lesser weapon to use the override they want to activate. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 16:13, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
That's why there's banks, where one could store a Bronze version of a weapon, if only to use to see how the Overide would look. Alockwood1 (talk) 16:24, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
How would that solve anything? If someone really like one of the mace overrides, but only owns and uses either a vine whip or godsword; why should they downgrade to a dragon mace to use the override (in the assumption drygore maces are out of their reach)? I meant for the Basic Player, who may or may not have the Higher-Tier versions of the weapons. Alockwood1 (talk) 16:36, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
