?[edit source]

Shouldn't the table thing, with what lvl u need to stop burning things with the gauntlets, be on this page? 05:56, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes. What are the levels? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 07:49, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
for tuna it is lvl 65 with or without gauntlets, for lobs it is 74 without gaunts and 68 with, for swordies it is 86 without or 81 with, and for sharks it is 94 with gaunts 04:05, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Should monkfish be added as well? (Bleissa 15:48, 4 January 2009 (UTC))

Monkfish has never been specified by Jagex, so no one knows it's level. Zaros FTW! I R Zaros Talk 15:53, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Here is some data using cooking gauntlets in the cooking guild on Monkfish. I realize the gauntlets probably did nothing, but the data is interesting: At lvl 85, I burned 1/40. At 86, 1/250. At 87, none. Then I switched to sharks.

With gaunts, I burned 5 monkfish from 86-87 and none from 87-88. Using my own data and the data above, I believe the article should be changed to indicate that players stop burning monkfish with gaunts at 87 cooking, instead of 90 which is currently listed. 07:02, August 4, 2012 (UTC)Meos

Guys you can still burn sharks at 100 cooking. I just did - Ross

Cooking with Gauntlets @ Lumbridge - correction[edit source]

I was cooking Sharks at level 93 with the gauntlets in the Lumbridge kitchen and burned 32 out of 3246.

Wow, 1% seems like a reasonable amount. Karlis (talk) (contribs) 17:43, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I thought so :)
I just burned a shark at 90, I'm going to bump it up to 91. Edit war commence! Dsctatom 01:27, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

I just burned some swordfish with level 79, im going to raise it to 80 for the time being. I'm cooking about 4.3K so i can give some stats. in regards to this also =) --TheMrBryanqwert 10:48, 29 August 2009 (UTC)--

ok so for lvl 79-80 i cooked 714Swordfish with cooking gauntlets on the lumbridge range and burnt 15 (15/714 burnt = 0.02%apx.) --TheMrBryanqwert 22:41, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok i just burnt some swordfish with cooking gauntlets on the lumbridge range at 80cooking, so i think that the lumbridge range doesn't affect the no burn level, just decreases the burn rate, any thoughts on this? --TheMrBryanqwert 23:18, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Cooking gloves with lumbrige range DOES lower the no burn level for lobsters to 64 I have tried this and cooked over 1000 lobbies without any burning. pyrolord 11:09, January 20, 2010 (UTC)

The problem is just someone filled put inaccurate information for all fish except for lobster. pyrolord 11:10, January 20, 2010 (UTC)

Rocktails on Lumby Range[edit source]

Throwing this out there since its still unknown, but i'm lv 97 cooking and cooked 96 without burning, since its only 96 i don't want to say anything definite, just throwing a base out there 02:53, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

After cooking a few hundred more rocktails on the lumby range with cook gaunts i believe with reasonable certainty that rocktails are not burnt at level 97 under these conditions. Don't know about lower levels 22:34, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

I noticed that the levels are conflicting. It says lvl 95 to not burn them anymore with just the gloves but 99 to stop burning them with the gloves and lumbridge range. pyrolord 01:10, January 7, 2010 (UTC)

Monk Fish[edit source]

The burn lvl with and without gauntlets are the same. I'll do some research and see if I can fix it. Rune crossbow.png Hess36talk Ancient staff.png 01:44, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Cooks' Guild ground floor range bonus[edit source]

Is there a bonus to cook lvl there??? Discuss here! Air rune.png Tollerach hates SoF Fire rune.png 00:23, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

rocktail and cavefish[edit source]

the stop burning levels on the table seem logically inconsistent plus in the seperate guides themselves for rocktail and cavefish the level to stop burning for both is 95... what is the correct levels?

I also am confused on the tables. cavefish table here says noburn with gauntlets is 98, but the cavefish page says 94. which is it? 03:27, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

TipIt Reference?![edit source]

Why is there a TipIt reference on a Runescape Wikia site? >_< LassKazeaze 00:38, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

Stops burning at??[edit source]

Hi, I read this page and the Tuna page, and they don't match. There it says: 63, 64 at a fire. But here (at the Cooking Gauntlets page) it says 65 without and 63 with. One must be wrong. Maybe the others don't make sense either.Leon Art 15:11, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Rocktail 94 or 95?[edit source]

The Cooking/Burn level page states 95. Since I don't know which page is accurate, I won't change it. Dsctatom 07:46, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Stop Burning: Monkfish[edit source]

I don't know what it is, but it is DEFINITELY not 87.

Sous Chef Glove replacement[edit source]

Provided you own both the gauntlets and the sous chef gloves, please also note that the sous gloves can be left in diango and you will still get the full set bonus. So you save save an extra bank slot! Djpailo (talk) 09:43, February 7, 2016 (UTC)

Anyone else noticing that in the tooltip the set effect still lists the gloves as missing? Talk to meTHARKONMy adventurer's log 23:36, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
