what does the "Set Minimum Join Rank" do? what do any of the setting do? can we have some clan leaders let us know? as members we don't seem to be able to find out anywhere 15:23, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

It sets the minimum rank required to join the chat, so if that setting is set to "Sergeant+" only Sergeants or higher can join the chat, and all other ranks will be denied access. Mark (talk) 15:26, April 13, 2011 (UTC)
It is actually impossible to set it higher than the lowest ranking member of the clan. So the only purpose of it is actually to either allow or disallow guests to enter the clan.Sundays211 06:29, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

The 'Who can enter chat?' section[edit source]

In the clan settings interface that I see, only the options 'anyone' and 'recruit+' appear for the 'Who can enter chat?' setting. I'm not sure if it's just me (which I doubt), but has anyone else actually seen any other options? Otherwhsie, the section needs to be updated to account for that.Sundays211 22:56, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

Admin Rank[edit source]

Is it possible to have more than one memebr at the admin rank?

I would assume ther can only be one Owner and Deputy Owner but what about the Admin?

A clan can have unlimited admin ranks. Same goes for Deputy owners. However, there can only be one clan owner (which is transferable, however).Sundays211 03:43, May 31, 2011 (UTC)
Oh. But if the owner leave doesn't it tell you the deputy will take over? If so then which deputy is it? 03:59, May 31, 2011 (UTC)
That is a good question. Maybe it might not let you leave if there is more than one deputy owner Sundays211 05:48, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

Symbols in motto[edit source]

There is a similar glitch with the clan motto as there was with the notes system. When changing the motto of the clan, you can write <img=x> in it, with x being a number from 0 to 3, to replace it with:

<img=0>:Player moderator crown.png

<img=1>:Jagex moderator crown.png

<img=2>:[[File:Notes arrow.png]]

<img=3>:Quick chat button.png

This needs to be added, but I'm not exactly sure where. Can anyone else tell me where or add it? KwekkoTalk3.14159265358979323846264338327950 08:02, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

In the trivia section, if it has been added yet. Either on the clan chat page or the clan settings page. Sundays211 06:00, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

Color[edit source]

Does anybody know who to change the color of the text in clan chat? Mine is always a bright yellow and I can barely see it... 10 years of ed 16:41, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

Go into options (not clan options, the options tab beside clan chat) -> chat options -> clan. A dark colour like dark green or dark blue should work best (if you play in fixed mode, which I assume you do seeing as yellow doesn't work for you) Sundays211 05:54, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

'Leave clan' section[edit source]

With the May clan update, this button was removed from this interface and put in the clan chat interface. Because of this, perhapse the section should really be moved from this article into the Clan Chat and/or Clan articles. Sundays211 23:28, July 30, 2011 (UTC)

Clan Motif Icons[edit source]

Is it possible to get a rundown of the icons available in the motif editor? ATM my clan's using the Ribbon and Guthix symbols, but there are a bunch of symbols that I don't have a clue what the meanings are, and might be better choices to represent my clan. Thanks in advance, I wish I knew enough of the wiki to be able to do it myself, but there'd be plenty of blank spots and unknowns by me. Example, when I first saw the icons, I thought the Woodcutting symbol was representing a mushroom cloud from a nuclear blast. (facepalm)

Rank System description[edit source]

Someone has added a description of the military rank system on this page. Since there is no direct corilation between the military system and the RuneScape rank system (where each clan implements their own rank roles, requirements, and duties), where should this section go, in relation to the article? Placing it right at the top could be somewhat deceiving, since the vast majority of clans do not use this system. Should it go along with trivia?

Clan Message Broadcast[edit source]

At least a screenshot of the new interface would be nice. PomodorosanTalk 13:54, April 1, 2014 (UTC)
