A level 13 creature can drop a Shield Half? Is this really true? Granted, if it is, you probably have to kill thousands to get it. 18.104.22.168 18:50, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
yes it is true i had to kill ALOT to get it
"Very Uncommon"[edit source]
As far as I'm aware the rarity list is the following:
I supposed "Very Uncommon" could fit between Uncommon and Rare, but the distinction between Uncommon and Rare is quite subtle already and would probably be used interchangeably due to the fact that what people consider "Rare" is subjective. I'm going to go ahead and change "Very Uncommon" to "Rare".Anincent 10:17, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
perhaps someone should add that this monster is good to fight with a macaw because of the macaw's increased herb drop rate?
Rune crossbow?[edit source]
Can anyone else confirm this?
I've killed a lot but I've never gotten a rune crossbow.
Uncut sapphires and emeralds: very rare?[edit source]
I've killed a lot of chaos druids and I think it would be more appropriate to say that they are rare than very rare.
Yes, this information is correct, they do drop sapphires and emeralds. Both should be on the rare section. 22.214.171.124 01:13, September 29, 2012 (UTC) Marceloo2
Grimy herb drops[edit source]
I was wondering if all the herbs should be listed separately under "drops," or if it should just be "grimy herbs," as it is now. Chaos druids don't drop toadflax or spirit weed, so perhaps saying "grimy herbs" is misleading? --Keiko777 11:22, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
man i have killed sooo many of these things, but i havnt gotten a drag spear, rune c bow, shield half or anything rare like that....
Amazing...an article on a monster that is void of locations! (Except "Chaos Tunnels" and "Edgeville Dungeon". Both are very vague, though!) I don't know where they are, and came to this article for help. 126.96.36.199 03:42, November 14, 2009 (UTC)
- I've added a list of all the places I remember them being. Hopefully that helps a bit. 03:49, November 14, 2009 (UTC)
I was fighting Chaos Druids and to one of them I dealt (10) (10) (1). Was this a glitch in the game or do some Chaos Druids have 21 HP and it hasnt been updated on the Wikia?
- It simply naturally healed, like you do on occasion, You've taken damage one second you're at say 560 Life, then at 561. He did the same thing. Coelacanth0794 15:43, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
Druid Image is too big.[edit source]
Is there some way to scale the image down on the page? Old Smithy 02:08, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
Chaos Talisman[edit source]
Does the location of the Chaos Druid matter? I've killed over a thousand in the Edgeville dungeon and I have never gotten a Chaos Tali drop. Talismonger 22:03, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
- It is of course possible since there are occasions where a monster location affects drops, but i see no reason why that would be the case here. Perhaps change the rarity in the article? Henneyj 04:27, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
Magic Attack[edit source]
The druids' magic attack, if it hits, will temporarily render the player unable to auto-retaliate (in adddition to draining attack). Can this be confirmed? --Limxzero 04:04, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
Two items I got[edit source]
Hello! Yesterday when I was killing some chaos druids at edgeville, one of them dropped an uncut dragonstone, and I'm not seeing on this page that it is droppable. Today, like 15 minutes ago, I was killing some chaos druids again and one chaos druid dropped 100 noted runite ores! I can't find that on this page aswell, I'm really happy right now because those 100 noted runite ores are worth over 1m :D cheers!
This is part of the rare drop table and not part of the normal drop table.
Uncut Dragonstone[edit source]
Now, I know that many people probably won't believe me when I say this, but; I got an uncut dragonstone as a drop. I'm assuming this is comparable to a dragon pickaxe drop from a chaos dwarf, only quite less valuable. I don't have picture proof, but, it did happen. I would edit the page myself, but I am unable to do so.
Addition: It appears I'm not the only person to have this happen to them, as the post above me states.
This is part of the rare drop table.
Tips section[edit source]
The last tip about the edgeville resource dungeon says you should bring anti-poison due to the presence of poison spiders. However, there are no poison spiders in the resource dungeon. On an unrelated note (although perhaps useful for the Tips section), these creatures are extremely nice for training combat on when low level combat, as the druids deal virtually no damage with their fists, are agressive and have nice drops, especially together with the 4 herbs spawning in the room, of which 1 ranarr and 1 irit.IcyRuler (talk) 20:24, September 15, 2016 (UTC)
