From statistics, it looks like this is one of the most interesting excavation sites to remain at once you reach level 56 Archeology (at least for Everlight), as it's the closest excavation site to a Materials Cart, rewards the most xp/hr and rewards quick artefacts that use the exact resources mined at these excavations spots.
