I think there is some confusion here as to which NPC is dropping the Braindeath 'rum'. The concensus on the 'Rum'-pumped crab page is that the general malpractioners are dropping the Braindeath 'rum' not the 'Rum'-pumped crabs.
Players killing both in close proximity are confusing which NPC has actuallydropped the rum.
- I did receive a rum off a malpractitioner during the quest, but not off a crab.
