Im getting ready to work on this article. But in Jagex recent updates they changed the name from bear to: Black bear,Grizzly bear etc... So my question is this should we delete this one and make two new ones? --Whiplash 11:03, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Either two pages with a See Also section (grizzly bear babies too!), or 1 page covering all of them.

Charm drops

Based on an admittedly small sample of 20 kills, the charm drop rate would appear to be completey wrong. Perhaps Jagex have changed the drops?

For 20 kills, I got 18 no-charm, and 2 gold charm.

If someone else can corroborate this, I'll nix the table and start from scratch.

Get at least 100 kills before stating that this is completely wrong. It would be like if I killed 20 Tormented demons and claimed that they do not drop claws, since I didn't get any Kuma3 21:31, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

I already conceded that my sample is small, but your comparison is a little OTT, as claws are a rare drop from Tormented Demons. In the case of the bears, the difference between the stated drop rate (~50% gold, and less than 10% no-charm) vs my sample (10% gold, 90% no-charm) is statistically significant despite the sample size. I agree that a bigger sample is needed before changing the table, which is why I requested corroboration from another source - but I don't intend wasting my time on the bears to prove a point! Bear Pelt

I got one as a drop off of them and decided to edit it in, but when I tried, the image I got from the Bear Pelt page wouldn't work, so I decided not to. I'm new to this, so if someone else could update/fix this, that'd be great.
