I am missing the lists of best non-degradable weapons

This article was simply Copy + Pasted from the Armour article for organization, some of the information is out of date. Also, if there is a tool to hide/show portions of the article, it could be helpful. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/runescape/images/3/33/Crimson_charm.gif Its Alex Pan 22:17, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

Should Vesta Long Sword be listed under PVP slash instead of GS? Since it is only 121 for slash and GS is 132? Strength-icon.png Hammer2092 Time |KOTA Bandos godsword.png 21:57, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

It already is(?) Tokkul detail.png Inhaps talk 22:00, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
Vesta Long + Rune defender is higher I think.

Should a section be made about Dungeoneering Armour? --Flajuram 22:29, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Magic Max Hit Section needs to be changed, it's impossible to cast Miasmic Barrage while wielding Staff of Light. Whatever the other method was, it needs to replace that method. Forgotten warrior (primal).png Tako Manz Sign me!Forgotten warrior (primal).png 21:44, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

pvp armour?

Is "without pvp armour" nessary? Its unencyclopedia, as its singling out one type of armour for no reason. I'm going to remove it unless I get strong objection.

The "without pvp armour" was needed on this page alot of people wont be using pvp armour to try and get the highest bonuses due to it's high cost and the time it lasts it should be brought back. Even if it means creating a new page for highest bonuses without pvp armour the two should be split Lord Saren 19:45, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

The Without PvP Armour sections are paramount to this article's usefulness. PvP prohibitively expensive and only lasts an hour. If you only have information with PvP armour, this section goes from being useful to someone seeking to maximise their defense or offense in a particular stat to useless trivia, because no one will ever actually use PvP armour. I'd advocate removing the PvP armour sections instead since it might as well not exist. kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 19:53, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
I can understand if they wanted to remove it to make this article look less cluttered because currently there is alot of information on this page if so like I mentioned the P2P best strength bonus without pvp armour which is still in this article should be moved to a new article where all highest bonuese without pvp armour could reside. Lord Saren 19:55, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
That's actually easy. There's very little information that's actually on this page. The majority are on pages like [[Armour/Best Crush Attack]] and [[Armour/Best Crush Attack Without Revenant Reward Armour]]. Its just a matter of reshuffling where those pages are transcluded (that is to say, made to appear on a particular page without actually being on it) kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 19:58, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Well if theres a page for every highest bonus without pvp armour then this new "without pvp" article should be relatively easy to put together im sure I could help out in one way or another. Lord Saren 20:05, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
People, its unencyclopedia! Why remove pvp armour? Why do we conclude that its too expensive to be practicle? "Too expensive" is an opinion. If we ignore pvp armour because its "too expensive", then we aught to ignore dragon bescause some ppl think dragon is too expensive. Same for rune. and iron. and bronze. WHERE DOES IT END?! 20:09, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Uh I think you mean "an encyclopedia". An being an indefinite article referring to encyclopedia. Unencylopedia would imply that its the opposite of an encyclopedia. And perhaps too expensive is an opinion, but use common sense, paying 50 million for something that lasts just one hour is not something that people are willing to do. kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 20:16, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
No, i mean unencyclopedia. This idea, of going by what is too expensive for you, is unencyclopedia. its more like <15m for a hour btw, and im sure some people would argue that iron armour is "too expensive." 20:18, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
The majority of the player base will think that pvp armour costs too much for the time you are able to use it, yes some people may say dragon is too expensive, furies are too expensive but the difference is they don't degrade it's called pvp armour for a reason and theyres other things than pvp. Lord Saren 20:19, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, then remove all degrading armour from the list. fine with me. and who said there wasnt other things then pvp? 20:21, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
We can have both! In fact we should have both. And I don't really have any opinion on whether it should be moved. It doesn't make any difference to me. P.S. the word you are thinking of is encyclopedic Lol kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 20:22, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
ok, so keep this as is but make an armour/highest bonuses/nondegrading armour article? 20:24, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar.png 20:25, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

well i don't know if you guys already created the nonPVP armor article, but then i'm wondering if anybody is going to make the best range and mage armor without pvp gear. i don't PVP and so the two armor sets really doesn't help me 00:44, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Split the article?

I've got the feeling that this article is too big. You can't easily browse it in search of the bonus you need. I would recommend to make this article a distinguish page. Something like this:

Members

Attack bonusses
  • Melee (link)
  • Ranged (link)
  • Magic (link)
Defence bonusses
  • Melee (link)
  • Ranged (link)
  • Magic (link)
Custom bonusses
  • Strength (link)
  • Ranged strength (link)
  • Prayer (link)
  • Weight (link) (both max and min or only min?)
F2P
Attack bonusses
  • Melee (link)
  • Ranged (link)
  • Magic (link)
Defence bonusses
  • Melee (link)
  • Ranged (link)
  • Magic (link)
Custom bonusses
  • Strength (link)
  • Ranged strength (link)
  • Prayer (link)
  • Weight (link)

The links would direct to seperated articles about their topic, example melee: slash, crush and stab, both with pvp and without pvp armour. That way it would be much quicker to find what you need.

Maybe we should merge ranged attack bonus and ranged strength bonus in 1 article, but still leave 2 links on the distingish page. Please leave your opinion!

Soaking stats

Why aren't the soaking stats included? I'm interested to know which armour would have the highest absorb melee, absorb ranged and absorb mage stats.

Ivandis Flail

I believe that the ivandis flail should be included for the Highest magic bonus inspite of the spirit shield (+20) and the master wand (+20) which gives a total bonus of 40 ,while the ivandis flail carries a magic bonus of 56. Is it logical to change the table ,or am I missing something here?

It's mentioned under the table that it gives a +56 bonus, but only against vyrewatch. sssSp7p.pngIjLCqFF.png 16:59, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Completionist cape...

Don't you think it's a bit useless in most of the members sets how cos of the completionist cape giving good bonuses the requirements say "have level 99 in all skills do all quests etc"? I mean if the player has that of course he can equip any set no matter what it is. Shouldn't we say "reqs (not including completionist cape)" for those sets?

Degradable Armor

Could we just stop adding more names to cover all types of degradable armor, and just call it degradable armor? I see PvP armor, Revenant Reward amor, Nex Armor, Torva Armor.... how many more do we really need before we just change this? The point behind it is people want to know best possible bonuses on armor they don't need to repair or replace, not exactly where the armor they're not using came from.

Hybrid Amour?

I was looking for an article that has a list of potential armour for Melee/Range combat.Other hybrid set-ups can be included in the article. I'm not talking about the official Hybrid amour from the minigames (Trickster, Vanguard, Battle-Mage). I was looking for armour anyone can put together and bought off the GE and use in PvP, PvM, or other type of combat in game. I'll do a little more research and compare stats of different armours but the armour available in the game is exhaustive and will probably take me a long while to compare them all. Anyway, constructive feedback is appreciated. IntrepidX 21:36, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

Mage def

Master wand is no longer the highest mage def. Someone fix pls

Best "no weakness" combo?

With EoC removing attack penalty(and bonus), should we add the highest possible balanced amour bonus for info? For example, in F2P, several amour combos will always give +306 (without amulet of defence) or 406 (with amulet of defence) amour bonus to all class, given that Batwing boots is worn. --Gspbeetle (talk) 07:09, December 5, 2012 (UTC)
