Agressiveness Mystery Solved[edit source]
Hey everybody!! I have been down to zaros camp a ton lately. Finally I wanted to figure out how much defence bonuses or armour or anything will stop agressiveness. After much expreimenting with armour/defence bonuses I found that there is a combination of two factors that makes them unagressive tied into a "magic number"
The key is both Defence level AND armour bonuses added together. I have found that the ancient warriors respond to all three melee styles (stab, slash, and crush).
The formula found is all three defensive armour bonuses numbers averaged ADDED to your current Defence level. If this number is 300+ you will be safe from their agression. if your defence level falls or your armour bonuses drop and the forumla becomes equal to less than 300, the warriors will become agressive. I strongly encourage others to test this too so I can have some confirmation/backup. Also, round down on the average from the armour to be correct, as Jagex usually rounds down in bonuses. Please share your findings too ^_^. I will be finding the numbers for the rangers and reavers soon. All feedback positive and negative is appreciated/welcome. I have done some more testing... it seems like I might be wrong. The rangers and warriors seem to randomly attack me at various times, so this will need some more testing from others. Teh Chicken 06:09, January 29, 2011 (UTC)

Just thought I'd put this here to explain my actions on the main page. I've confirmed that the equipment bonuses on the pages of the Ancient Warrior, Ancient Ranger and Blood Reavers are not accurate, as I found them all aggresive with an armour setup which provided all the required equipment bonuses stated on the pages. Further testing is needed to figure out exactly what combination it is that makes them unaggresive, which is likely a combination of equipment bonuses and Defense level (possibly Magic and Range levels as well) however not in the way that Teh Chicken has already suggested. As a result of my findings, I am removing the equipment bonus requirements from the pages that suggest them until we have gathered enough evidence to suggest a formula or such which is accurate in the vast majority of cases. 220.127.116.11 15:45, September 3, 2011 (UTC) Kyogre Blast
