If you are 12 perhaps...  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The-Dreamcaster (talk) on 19:27, February 21, 2011 (UTC).

Neutrality?[edit source]

Do all the parts together/separately provide total neutrality to all factions in the MAIN part of the GWD (like the other Ancient armour (Torva etc)? 195.137.81.78 21:47, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I am not sure what you mean by 'neutrality', but, It grants no protection whatsoever. --Qazwsx753421 21:07, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

I hate the GE so much...[edit source]

So I got frozen and piled on the way through the Ancient Prison after two successful trips. I forgot to bank the key beforehand, so I couldn't get my drops. I did have the Protect Item prayer on, so I saved all but one piece of the robe set. Guess which piece I lost?

If you guessed gloves, because they have the lowest GE price, you'd be right. However, they're not selling for that much, they're selling for the highest, at about 500k-750k. I panicked when I died and didn't really look at the items I was keeping.

I made 500k off Nex in two trips (both a bunch of brews and restores). I lost 750k on one trip.

Just a reminder to always check the items kept on death. N1ghtshade3 (talk)

Shard of Zaros[edit source]

"They neither provide protection from god-aligned monsters nor do they possess stat bonuses of any sort, so food and other equipment should be taken while travelling there."

Alternatively, the Shard of Zaros can be used instead of food and other equipement (armor i'm assuming). With that said, should the article mention the Shard of Zaros, or is it irrelevent to the article? MR PR1NCE I (talk) 04:32, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

I saw that an anonymous user put in the above infomation. Shortly after, a well reputable editor removed it. Looks like it is not relevent to this article after all. MR PR1NCE I (talk) 03:02, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
::I'm willing to discuss the inclusion of it in the article. I'm not the god of what gets included, and I haven't entered this with a strong opinion in any direction. I just didn't see it as relevant (at least not how it was worded). If you have a reason/reforming/anything else to give weight to that content, I'm open ears. MolMan 03:14, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
You have been editing articles for a long time (and henceforth, you earned a good reputation and respect, even from myself). I did not exactly want to question your judgement, especially since I wasn't 100% sure that this information should be included. Thanks for being open minded, I appreciate it. I also posted here to open up this discussion once again, since I didn't receive a response for several months.
Anyway, I felt that the specific item should be mentioned in this article only because of the above quote, in my first comment, taken from the same article. "Food and other equipment should be taken while travelling there (to Nex)" However, if a Shard of Zaros is equipped, which grants you protection from all god-aligned monsters, the above recommendations in the quote become invalid. The recommendation is valid for many, not for all; therefore, the I believe the Shard of Zaros should be included or the recommendation be removed entirely. Thanks for reading. I added a thing in about the shard. Feel free to change it as you see fit. MolMan 03:49, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks! MR PR1NCE I (talk) 04:15, September 7, 2014 (UTC)

Misinformation on disassembling[edit source]

These do NOT give Zaros components 100% of the time.
