Listing of aggressive monsters?[edit source]

I feel it is futile to list the monsters in RuneScape which are aggressive. The article should be able to make it clear to most people when a monster is aggressive and when it is not.

In F2P, few agressive monsters are found outside of dungeons and wilderness, so the instances of them are worth noting - maybe in P2P, aggressives are more common in "civilized" areas?. Ace of Risk 17:11, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Previous version?[edit source]

It took me a half hour to write this article up, and in the meantime Couchpotato99 wrote a previous version and this one got overwritten. Oops.Shadowdancer 00:54, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Merge the two into a super-article. Woodcutting-icon.pngHyenastetalk 02:11, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Move[edit source]

Perhaps this should be moved to Aggression? Oddlyoko 00:14, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Simplification?[edit source]

I'm not entirely sure, but... do we need it to be quite this complex? I took high school math and everything, but it seems a lot more complicated than just saying "It will attack if the player's level is less than double the monster's". --Avian Maid 05:59, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Becoming aggressive again[edit source]

The article states that some monsters become aggressive again after players have earned tolerance. Does this depend on combat level? My friend and I were fighting Wallasalkis together. Not only did it seem to take her longer than me to earn tolerance, she lost tolerance periodically whereas I did not. I'm fairly certain she didn't move around any more than I did. She had 97 combat and I had 111. Stewbasic 16:53, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

Distance Radius?[edit source]

How far does one have to move away from their 'tolerated' area before all monsters become aggressive again? Is it controlled by a certain size distance-radius around the player that, if the player stays inside it, monsters will be tolerant? Or are there, like, invisible 'boundaries' throughout the game where, if a player passes over one into the next 'area', monsters will become aggressive again? Or is it something else entirely different?Saxazax 22:35, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
