Tailoring was removed after an update.

Tailoring was a skill featured in RuneScape Classic. The skill was nearly impossible to gain experience in and had very little use. It proved to be time-consuming, as the only way to earn experience was to craft/tan leather.

Prior to the release of RuneScape, the skill was supposed to be called Sewing and could be used to create armour using wool. It was also designed to contain the option to craft arrows prior to the release of Fletching. The skill wasn't finished upon release, but was re-named to Tailoring. The skill design didn't live up to its expectations and was eventually removed and merged with Crafting and, in 2002, Fletching.
