Superior tetsu kogake are tier 85 melee tank boots which require level 85 Defence to wear. They are part of the Tetsu equipment set, and can be made on an anvil in your player-owned port workshop with 20 plate at level 90 Smithing. Making them requires unlocking the tetsu boots scroll from Boni on Waiko for 2,500 chimes and 3 taijitu.

Wearing any four pieces (or more) of a superior tetsu armour set (including augmented parts) grants a passive ability, Iron Fist, which gives a chance to obtain a ports resource crate when defeating an opponent.

The Superior tetsu kogake degrade to a broken state after 72,000 charges of combat. They can be repaired by a Repair NPC for 300,000 coins (for a full repair), or for less at an armour stand. Alternatively, they can be repaired using 10 plate (for a full repair) by using them on your anvil in your port.

Upon death, this item will appear under your gravestone and if killed in the wilderness it will turn into 375,000 coins for the killing player regardless of charge.

A complete set of the five piece superior tetsu equipment can be stored in the armour case of a player-owned house.
