Superior Morrigan's throwing axe is a degradable tier 88 main hand ranged weapon. It is made by upgrading Morrigan's throwing axe with an Ancient warriors' equipment patch. This increases its tier from 78 to 88, and makes it augmentable. It retains the special attack of the base version. 100 axes are needed to make this upgraded version, but unlike the base version, this version is retained when thrown (i.e. it acts like crystal chakrams or sunspear (ranged)). There is no off-hand variant of this weapon, making off-hand Elite Death Lotus darts this weapon's off-hand equivalent.
Superior Morrigan's throwing axe degrades to dust over 100,000 charges of combat. It cannot be repaired, and when it runs out of charges it vanishes. Additionally, using the weapon's special attack will drain 100 charges, or 0.1% of maximum charge.

Special attack[edit | edit source]
Morrigan's throwing axes have a special attack called Hamstring, requiring 50% adrenaline to use. The attack can deal up to 20% more damage and also inflicts a debuff that also causes the target's run energy to drain ten times as fast for one minute.
Unlike their normal counterparts however, using the weapon's special attack will drain 100 charges, or 0.1% of maximum charge, since it's been converted into a typical ranged weapon rather than a stackable one.
Note: Despite causing a debuff, there is no icon indicating that the player's run energy will drain significantly faster.
