Staff of limitless steam detail.png

The staff of limitless steam is a tier 82 two-handed magic weapon that provides infinite water and fire runes. It is created by combining an elemental impetus, a mystic steam staff, a water talisman, and a fire talisman. Doing so requires 75 crafting, but can be assisted. This process is irreversible. The staff of limitless steam can be augmented with an augmentor.

The staff degrades for 60,000 charges of combat to a broken state. It can be repaired by a repair NPC for 1,500,000, or for less on an armour stand. Upon loss in the Wilderness the staff is converted to 250,000 coins and a mystic steam staff.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

The Staff of limitless steam at most, costs 1,500,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is precisely calculated by the degradation percentage (i.e. with 75% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 375,000 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

With an NPC[edit source]

These less preferred methods cost more as they do not consider one's Smithing level for a repair discount.

Alternate methods[edit source]

These preferred methods provide a repair cost discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).
