Squeck is a companion pet that players can unlock by inspecting a slimy egg, which can be found while fishing in Menaphos. Catching a raw beltfish gives a 1/1000 chance to receive the slimy egg, catching a raw catfish gives a 1/2000 chance, and catching a raw desert sole gives a 1/3000 chance.[1]
Unlocking this pet is required for the title, Sandy [Name] and the achievement Gotta catch 'em both!

- The Squoggoth familiar override will no longer appear as Squeck.
- patch 19 June 2017 (Update):
- Squeck can now be removed from a player-owned house menagerie.
- The examine text is a reference to a catchphrase associated with Superman: "Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Superman!" (alternately: "It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's Superman!").
