A spiritual ranger is a ranger spirit that serves one of the four gods in the God Wars Dungeon, requiring 63 Slayer in order to be harmed. Like spiritual warriors and magi, they died a long time ago; however their devotion to their god was so great that their spirit still lives on. While not classed as undead, they are affected by the buffs of the salve amulet and salve amulet (e). They are normally not killed for their drops, but as a slayer assignment.

Armadylean spiritual rangers will also count towards completing an Aviansie slayer assignment.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • When spiritual rangers are fighting other creatures, they seem to punch them rather than draw their bows and shoot arrows. However, despite this lack of animation, the arrows themselves can still be seen.
  • Prior to the Evolution of Combat, spiritual rangers, alongside mages and warriors, were unique among each faction:
    • Armadyl's rangers were the strongest of the four, possessing the highest ranged stat.
    • Saradomin's rangers were the weakest of the four, possessing the least amount of health and defence.
    • Bandos' rangers had the highest defence and health.
  • Zamorakian spiritual rangers have the least amount of spawns in the whole dungeon - even less so than the ancient mages, with only two ranger spawns; one in Zamorak's Fortress, and another in Armadyl's Eyrie.
