Sonic Wave is a basic Magic ability, requiring level 8 Magic and a two-handed weapon to use. The ability deals 31.4-157% ability damage, averaging at 94.2%. If the ability successfully damages your opponent, the hit chance of your next attack is boosted by 6%. Sonic Wave is often used as an accuracy boost before hitting an opponent with threshold or ultimate abilities.
Players without level 8 Magic have access to Lesser Sonic Wave instead, which automatically upgrades to Sonic Wave upon reaching level 8 Magic.
Sonic Wave strikes the target 2 ticks after being cast. If the player stalls Sonic Wave, waits a global cooldown, then casts Sonic Wave while dual wielding magic weapons, Sonic Wave strikes the target 1 tick afterwards instead.
